Over the course of Autumn Winter 2011 fashion week, we saw everything from barely there to full out colourful makeup on the faces of the models.The strong, smoky eye was seen with a twist. Apart from the always classic, black, grey and brown Smokey Eye, a red Smokey eye was prominent.
The Red Smokey eye has been spotted on many catwalks lately including Ruffian, Thakoon, Yoana Baraschi and Nina Ricci.
Red smoky eye shadow, was dusted on models’ lids at Nina Ricci’s spring runway show, being the hottest thing since sliced bread.
Rihanna was spotted rocking a reddish smoky eye to the BRIT awards in London. This was a look that was no doubt inspired by New York Fashion Week.
