Today I am mourning my tan, no longer do I have a bronzed healthy summer glow but in its place I am sporting a sort of translucent pale vampire-esque makeup look all thanks to winter. So I was inspired to get back some of my glow and bring my face back to life. I guess this sentiment is being shared by many this winter as one of winters biggest trends is METALLICS a sure way to warm things up with the application of shimmers and all things shiny!
The trend has gone as far as lips, cheeks, eyes and nails but be careful not to resemble a disco ball by combining all of them. So choose your favourite and get ready to razzle and dazzle by moving away from matte and choosing colours that are going to dance in the light reflecting off your skin.
Opt for a simple shimmer or glitter gloss on your lips, if you feeling brave try a silver or gold lip shade or add a highlighter to your cheeks and get bronzing. Take the trend to your eyes by doing a metallic smokey eye or by just lining the inner corners of your eyes with a shiny shadow.
Whatever you choose have fun with this makeup trend as it will take your face from looking drab to fab!
