Loreal Extra Volume Collagene Mascara Waterproof

I imagine that this will retail for R 149.99 but i scored this as a freebie in my loreal excellence hair colour and i dunno why but freebies feel so good!almost birthday like!
Anyone that follows any of my reviews knows i favour Estée Lauder sumptuous extreme, benefit, maybelline colossal, and rimmel scandal eyes! Add this one to my list of favourites! Why? Waterproof! Giant brush ! One stroke delivery! Result full lush coated separated voluminous lashes that look false and doll like! Love this! It's on my favourites list!

When I saw that the freebie in the March Elle was this mascara I immediately got it (like the freebie junkie I am). I was really excited to try this mascara out because in all my years of wearing mascara, I've never used a Loreal one before.

Packaging: I really like the design of the mascara tube. Its kinda shaped like a long bullet and is super sleek. Its really easy to hold while applying.

Brush: Its colossal!!!!! Its by far the biggest brush I've ever used. But I don't think that the bigger the brush translates to bigger lashes. The first time I used it I nearly poked out my eye and obviously that led to a massive smudge! So take caution, this brush requires patience and expert care cos its so gigantic and makes it difficult to use.

Formula: So I have the Black Waterproof one and I am happy to report that no panda eye effect took place. However there was a little bit of flaking as I put mascara on my bottom lashes but it wasn't too bad. When it came to removing it completely, it came off quite easily with eye make-up remover and the remnants I washed off easily enough.

Volume: My lashes don't look any different, no surprises there. I've come to the realisation that the only way I'm going to have bambi eyelashes is to get lash extensions.
