Dove Review

Aaaaand I'm back!
Today has been a very sad day for South Africans, losing a great hero, Nelson Mandela. May he rest in peace. xx

On another note, the real reason I'm writing this - the Dove Radiance Colour review!

I washed my hair with the Dove Radiance Treatment Mask after using the shampoo, and left it in my hair for 3-5 minutes as instructed. The next day I woke up with a very full head of hair!

My hair seemed very thick... I think that's a good thing? Even now, sitting at work, my hair still feels thick. Only downside is that some of the ends feel brittle and dry. Maybe I didn't wash my hair right, or maybe it's the mask alone?

Will let you all know what happens. In the mean time my colour is looking gorgeously blonde!!! xx

I was meaning to post a photo yesterday, but decided to wait today to show a picture. (I wanted to see if the colour was the same)

So my hair feels unusually softer from using the Dove Daily Treatment conditioner. I cannot wait to use the Dove Treatment Mask! This is meant to be used weekly as instructed. I think I may just test that tonight.

I just wanted to share a little something with you all... Before I started using Dove, the scalp at the base of my head had been unusually itchy and flaky, hence why I was using Head & Shoulders. However the more I was using this product, the more 'flakier' my hair seemed to be getting.

I've noticed that with Dove, I've been less reclined to scratch away at my head. It's almost as if it's "healing" my scalp. I'm not sure if it's because the conditioner is softer than the product I was using before?
Either way, I'm pleasantly impressed with the effectiveness of the range!

As you can see in the picture below, the tones in my hair are being brought out even more, making my hair appear more fuller and bouncy!

At the moment we have no water at home, so I'm unable to wash my hair until later on this evening. (Sniff sniff)

Yesterday I was at a charity event, running around and getting all sweaty. When I eventually got home in the afternoon, I decided to have a shower and to wash my hair. I used Dove's Shampoo & Conditioner again.

I wasn't feeling so well (I think it was from lack of hydration during the day) so I went to sleep with wet hair. I woke up this morning, and again, my hair was oh so fresh and clean! The blondness in my hair seemed even more 'shiny' than it usually was. I didn't even straighten my hair or styled it as I loved the way it looked!

Tonight I wanted to wash my hair again, but instead of using the conditioner, I used the Dove Daily Treatment Conditioner. I loved the way how it felt extra foamy and spread easily when I massaged my hair. I also waited 2 minutes as instructed from the back of the bottle. This apparently leaves for better results.

Once again I'm off to bed with wet, fresh-smelling hair. Will post a picture tomorrow!

My impressions of the Dove Colour Radiance range has been good so far! Very happy. :)

So I woke up this morning to wonderful fresh hair from washing it last night with Dove.

I could already feel the difference. My hair actually looks brighter, and it smells so fresh.

As I walked in to work today, my colleague asked whether I had dyed my hair blonder! I think it's because of the Dove colour radiance?

Either way, I'm so happy with the way my hair feels!

I have exceptionally long hair, so I always wash my hair often. Let's see how long it takes before my hair gets greasy :)

I received my Dove products yesterday to review.

The products themselves are lovely and look so professional!
I decided to try out the shampoo and the conditioner tonight. Now, I usually use another hair product and since using it, my scalp has become rather flakey.

So you can imagine how I was so excited to be chosen to review this product, and since I highlight my hair, the colour treatments were a bonus!

Trying the shampoo tonight, I could straight away feel the difference. After the conditioner, my hair felt so much more softer and smoother.
I go to bed with wet hair, so tomorrow morning I'll be able to tell how it looks and feels. The Dove products come with instructions on the back, and have advised me to use the treatment mask daily, which also came with the other products. I will be trying that and then posting pictures of the changes!

For now this is just the start of a healthier, looking hair!
