This shade is fantastic for bronze looks and brown lipsticks. I was using it with my bronze lipgloss and it has given my lips a wonderfullly full and polished look. I am now on a kick for lipliners! The trick is not to use a liner that is darker that your lipstick. Brown Pink looks almost nude with very fine shimmer. On the lips it appears bronzy/brown and the shimmer is not really visible. The quality is fantastic. It is very soft and creamy but one needs to be careful not to push too hard to avoid a blotchy line. It sharpens well and doesn't crumble at all. On darker skins it will be a true nude. I recommend this product!

After I read Tracy, Maryanne and Quanita's review, I couldn't resist not trying out Essence products! And I am so happy that I have! This lipliner is super DUPER affordable at R14.95 a pop! The best part is that it is good quality as well. The liner gets very creamy as your lip warms up the product and it applies smoothly on the lips. I love using lip liner under certain lipsticks as it makes the lip colour last longer on your lips. It also helps prevent certain lipsticks from "bleeding" at the edges of your lips which is a great plus.

As someone who can't stand the 'dark lip liner with lighter lipstick' look, I sought out a lip liner that was similar to my natural lip colour. The product I found was Essence lip liner in 01 Soft Rose.

The texture of the lip liner is soft and goes on smoothly, if you want to make your lips look luscious you emphasise the cupids bow (top centre of the lip) with the liner. Another lip-tip is to use a normal lipstick but dab a small amount of clear lip gloss onto the centre of your bottom lip.
