Usually heat defence sprays leave the hair with that really sticky and dull feeling, but alas, tresemme heat defence spray has definitely come to the rescue.

Packaged with its spritzer nozzle, its easy to work with and ensures an even distribution when applied directly to the hair. It also lasts really long, as one does not need to apply much of the product to the hair.

I find that the product works best when leaving it in for about 15 min before drying, leaving the hair with that sleek shiny look while protecting at the same time.

The product has a really good smell to it as apposed to some heat defence product which leaves that really awful "burnt' smell after applying heat, such as a straightner, to the hair.

The product is very light and non-sticky so its perfect for blowdrying and straightening.

I have been using this product for just over a year and for the price and the size of the bottle you can't go wrong when deciding what product to use.My sister is a model,she has her hair straightened,tightened,curled,braided etc,on a weekly basis and this product really helps keep the shine on the runway.It minimises the damage,which most ladies are afraid of when using a straightener or hairdryer.

I've been using Tresemme's Heat Defence Styling Spray since forever! I think I've had it for almost more than 2 years now and I'm still on the same bottle. I don't remember the exact price, but it was affordable as most Tresemme products are. I use this product everytime I blow dry my hair and also before I use my GHD. (As you may have seen in my Babydoll curls hair tutorial). I wouldn't say that this product helps to hold your hair in any shape or form, but it does offer heat protection to your hair. It has a nice fragrance and leaves hair smelling fresh. The spray is also very easy to use.

I started using this product at the beginning of the year after I noticed that constant blow drying and flat ironing was leaving my hair dry and damaged at the ends. After getting my hair cut I decided that I needed a product to protect my hair from all the heat styling it was exposed to. A little internet search led me to this product. It cost me R59.99 for a 300ml bottle with a trigger pump dispenser.

This product really does work, I've had no more split ends since I've started using it. It smells fresh and fruity and gives a light hold after styling. It reduces frizziness and fly aways after flat ironing but does not leave any stickiness or oily residue. You don't need much product at a time so the bottle last quite a few months depending on the length and thickness of your hair. I still use a silicone serum for shine afterwards as this product doesn't give a gloss to your hair.

I bought the “travel friendly” bottle (always sceptical of hair products) I love that Tresemme products are available in a smaller size – it’s such a practical idea! You can spray the product onto wet or dry hair, before heat styling, etc. I love the scent of this product, it lingers in your hair and gives it a subtle delicious smell all day! Application is really easy – point and spray, avoid your roots, and don’t use too much product. The clear spray is masked by the Tresemme black bottle, with the purple colour scheme of the “protect” range of products. Has a very professional and skimpy look about it, quite appealing. After use I can definitely see a huge difference in my hair. After a blow-wave or styling with a flat iron, this product leaves your hair silky soft and smooth to the touch. Works very well with other product from the range, my hair is frizz free! Doesn’t leave your hair feeling oily & looking dirty, it’s a quick-fix solution to beautiful results! I highly recommend it!
