Schwarzkopf Palette Deluxe Aubergine 4-99

This colour worked beautifully on my already brown hair. I knew what colour to expect, as the colours on the back of the box clearly gives you a better idea of what the colour will do to your current hair colour. Application is easy, although I found the colour slightly more runny than other brands.
The completed look was exactly what I was going for and when the sun catches the colour in my hair, it absolutely makes it pop even more. LOVE!

Palette Deluxe by Schwarzkopf claims to be the first permanent hair colouration with a caring formula that nourishes your hair with micro oil technology.
- I used 2 boxes to colour my virgin human hair from blonde to soft mid brown and the colour turned out perfect, the hair was no longer brittle and dry, however, upon my first wash thereafter I noticed that the colour started to fade and the blond streaks of the previous dye was visible. My second wash was even worse but the hair was still shinier and looked healthy.
- Palette Deluxe by Schwarzkopf is a semi-permanent hair colour and I would definitely repurchase it because I achieved the colour that I wanted

When I got chosen to do the colour review I was ecstatic and super excited.

This is such an amazing product and I absolutely loved colouring my hair with it.

I MUST say that even though the colour did not come out exactly as I wanted due to me having a very dark brown, almost black already, it was well with giving it a try. What I do like is that I have a tinge of the colour that shows in the sunlight and light.

I have also found that after a couple of washes the colour seemed to have popped a bit more too.

I really love this colouring product as it is soft on my hair and it even helped me fix a bit of the damage from previous colouring.

I will definitely be using this again.

Can I just tell you that I am hooked! It's been a while since I actually colored my hair and was really pleased to be able to participate in the #TurnColourIntoLuxury project.

My hair felt, dull, lifeless, too grey and falling all over the place thanks to post partum symptoms.

Currently I use Schwarzkopf shampoo and conditioner and I am kicking myself for not trying the hair dye sooner!

My hair is happy again. Thank you Beauty Bulletin. My grey hairs are all covered, my hair has a lucious shine and beautiful colour in sunlight and.... My hair falling problem has improved!

I've already purchased more and will a regular customer. The range is fantastic and does not disappoint.

And with a price range that's effective for my pocket and budget... Who could say no...

Aubergine Mad !

As my hair is pretty dark I love this colour as it makes my hair richer in colour.Application was easy and no itchy spots on my scalp.
My hair feels softer and more conditioned will defo be using again.

A huge thank you to Beauty Bulletin for sending me the Schwarzkopf Palette Deluxe hair dye to review. The shade I chose was "4-99 Attractive Aubergine"

The bottom (bleached) part of my hair was coloured using the Schwarzkopf LIVE ULTRA BRIGHTS OR PASTEL Semi-permanent dye in the shade "095 Electric Blue". And the top part of my hair from the roots was dyed using the Palette Attractive Aubergine.

The Palette dye left my hair with a rich colour that can best be seen in sunlight; however it has more of a reddish hue than purple. The dye smells great, it's easy to apply, it didn't damage my hair; and the Rich Care Mask left my hair feeling soft and healthy.

I would have rated the product 5 stars if the dye had actually been an "aubergine" colour, however it turned out to have more of a red tone.

I was abit nervous at first because I wasn’t sure as to how effective the colour would come out. I wasn’t prepared for a “purple” look. But after applying the two boxes it came out better than I was hoping! It not only looks amazing but it changes shades depending on the lighting!

I love this! this color made my hair feel silky and very smooth. It did not damage my hair. the color range is great and unlike other brands. The attractive aubergine was such a 'popping'color and definitely got everyone's attention.

It worked really well on my dark hair and it looks so Hearthy. It changes in different lighting

Packaging wise, it was very attractive and all of the relevant information was on the packaging, the use of colour and font was also quite eye catching. The product was described well. it was also not covered in plastic which I thought was great.
The contents of the packaging was good, easy to use, clearly labelled and clear instructions were given as well as warning, however there was an issue of wastage with a bit of the developer emulsion in the applicator bottle and some colour from the applicator bottle so perhaps it would be more effective to use tubing as packaging and include a reusable brush to prevent lots of single use plastics being put out there. The gloves were good quality and reusable if washed.
The colour also instantly develops instantly so you don’t have to sit around and wait before applying. The colour creme has a very chemical smell but it’s all put to ease once the developer emulsion is added.
Application wise, it was amazing. Extremely easy to use (especially for a beginner like me). The dye leaves your hair smelling amazing. The hair mask leaves your hair feeling extremely nourished as after the colour was rinsed it did feel quite brittle and dry. The fragrance lingers for about a week.
The colour on my hair didn't line up with the colour guidelines on the back of the back and that was quite disappointing and misleading.
Overall, I am quite pleased with the outcome. If your hair is thicker than normal or longer than your shoulders you should use 2 boxes to avoid getting a mahogany colour instead of plum. The colour is more of a plum than aubergine, as aubergine is an intense purple and this was definitely not intense, it gives darkish hair a plum-like sheen and undertone in the light, not visible in the shade as shown on the box. This should have perhaps been disclosed on the back of the box. It is however extremely simple and wonderful to use.
I'm not extremely happy with the wastage from the applicator bottle, the description of colour on the box nor the fact that the hair feels quite dehydrated and brittle a few days after colouring. It’s a good product but perhaps packaging should give clearer guidelines for colours as this was not a rich aubergine colour, it is more of a mahogany.

The colour came out as beautiful and dark and silke and shiny as ever, I am in love. One has to make sure that they have more than one box if you have a lot of hair. I absolutely LOVE this dye and have already bought my mother and sister their own already, so yea. I am definitely buying this for myself.

My hair is soft and silky and the results are amazing. Doesnt make your hair dull it brings a shine like no other..

My hair has been through the absolute most: I've bleached it and coloured it over and over and over (you get the point). It's left my hair rather brittle and dull in comparison to my virgin hair. When I signed up for the review, I didn't think I would be this impressed, I mean.. It's a box dye! Surprisingly, I'm unbelievably impressed. My hair feels softer, silkier, stronger. It's so vibrant. I've coloured my hair with this amazing shade this past weekend and I can only say WOW! Truly luxurious! My hair is so soft and feel and look fuller and healthier! Best hair dye product ever.
