Neutrogena has always been one of those brands that I love to use so, when I heard about this beauty I had to try it for myself.
The price is slightly steeper from my normal CC cream but I figured Ii should be worth it?
Anyway, I found the application with my fingers very easy and smooth but coverage was not soo great and every time I apply I ended up wiping off what was previously applied. Little bit of a mess but anyway......
The cream is not very heavy and it's probably best not to wear this for the entire day because you might end up having to re-apply.
It is a good product but can never be compared with a good quality longwear foundation. I am keeping this for those not so busy days when I need a make up touch up!
I enjoyed using the CC cream as it helped to even out my complexion and give light coverage to the marks I have after breaking out a few days ago. I do, however, feel that it is quite limited. The CC cream only comes in two shades (light and medium) and I think there should be a dark shade to cater for all the melanin beauties. I also feel that it is a bit pricey for the size but overall, it is a great product especially if you have oily or combination skin.
Starting off with the shade, it was slightly too dark for my current skin colour - I am not nearly as tanned now that it is winter. It did have the right undertones for my skin, which meant I could blend it out nicely.
Whilst it was extremely bendable, I found it became patchy quickly. I also found that it had minimal coverage when compared to other CC creams I have used. I had to use a few layers of the product before I achieved the desired affect.
I did like the fact that it wasn't oily or drying - I have a combination skin and it's usually hard to find products that work nicely.
I probably won't buy this products again, but I would recommend it for beginners and people who don't like wearing lots of makeup.
I have very olive skin and found that the medium had a perfect undertone for my complexion.
I did find that for me, the consistency was quiet thick as I do not wear any other makeup.
When using it, I apply it in small dots around my face and rub it in. I find thats the best way to achieve an even, thin layer without looking washed out.
I personally wouldn't buy this product again but I would recommend it to something with oily or combination skin.
I have dry skin and i felt that the product when i applied it to my face would make my skin look dry and patchy. I felt that it would be better suited on a person with oily skin because it has a matte finish. I also didn't like that it only came in two shades being the light and medium , it definitely should be available to every skin tone. I would suggest that the CC Cream would cater to every skin type ( Dry, Oily and Combination)
