As far as purple lipsticks go, this lip colour is a little legend. Everyone should have this rich shade in their collection. Now for the pros: it's not as drying as some matte Mac shades like Ruby Woo. The colour is enduring and doesn't transfer too much. And for the cons: I feel there are a few brands like LA Girl Matte Velvets that have the same staying power and pigment for much less , Mac is R250 vs LA Girl R59.90...I would get it as a splurge because it's a classic shade that will go out of style.
The matte formula is long lasting and non-drying. This is perfect for those days when I don't have time to be re-applying my lipstick throughout the day.
I have not met a single person who doesn’t look good when they have this lipstick shade on. It seems to look great on most skin tones.
It’s a bit on the pricey end for me, but it lasts long since there’s not need to apply layers and layers of it.
This lippie has helped to complete a number of looks for so the name Heroine seems perfectly fitting to me.
I have been yearning for this lipstick for the longest time, and I got given it for my birthday back in July.
It's such an unusual colour and it looks so gorgeous on. You can dab it on for a more sheer coverage or a bitten look, or you can build it up for a really powerful colour!
The staying power is really good too.
