this is by far my favourite foundation. use it everyday1

This foundation has a really smooth matte finish. Since I have dry skin, I make sure that I moisturise my face with well ahead of time before I use this because the matte finish can emphasise flakiness and dry/patchy skin. The coverage is medium but buildable. A major plus is that it is so lightweight and feels like you aren't even wearing any foundation!

As someone who has combination skin I had struggled to enjoy this product completely. My skin looked cakey in some places (around my dry spots) and oily around my T zone.
I had prepped my face accordingly using my everyday skin care routine.
Some days it had agreed with my skin and some not.

However, I would recommend this to other due to the great coverage and feel of the foundation! ?
Maybe I should give it another try.

I'm a girl with very oily skin, and I loved this product! For the price you pay you get an amazingly effective product that will last all day! I do wear a powder finish over it, just because I'm extra oily, but really, this product surprised me so much. I usually have to go for the more expensive products because of the oiliness and the more cost-effective products usually just slip off. But this one is amazing and I love it!

I finally decided to purchase this foundation - after months of research. The shade selection is extremely limited, so I watched videos, read reviews and swatched in store before deciding to go with 20 Sand.

The lightest shade 11 Vanilla is quite fair with pink undertones and one shade up to my shade is 22 Radiant Beige with yellow undertones, but it looked a tad too dark for my skintone.

20 Sand has neutral undertones and it is great for anyone who is around NC20 in MAC. I found that when I apply my MSF Natural in Light Plus over top, it does balance out the neutral quite well.

I must say that I really enjoy the formula of this foundation. It blends out very easily, it looks really smooth on the skin and it provides great medium coverage. I don't find it to be overly drying, so with the right skin prep, it could work for any skin type. It does not feel heavy on the skin either.

This foundation lasts all day on my oily skin. I do start to glisten at around 14:00, but I don't get excessively oily. This foundation does not move or fade at all.

Overall, I think it is a great product at a really affordable price. I just wish that there were more shades to choose from. Still definitely worth a try...

When I first tried this foundation I was afraid it might dry my skin out because its a matte foundation. But this product kept my skin hydrated and did not dry out my skin like other matte foundations do. You will never go wrong with this foundation. Perfect for everyday use.

I tried this foundation out recently as I wanted to dabble in some fuller coverage foundations :p

I love the smell of this product, no smell of chemicals or cosmetics, just a slight pleasant fragrance :) The glass bottle feels more sturdy and secure, and is super handy as it has a pump function :)

The coverage is medium to full, and can be built up. It sets quite matte and so it may not be a product for people with dry skin - It unfortunately looked too drying on my skin and clung to dry patches - However it would be a great product for someone with combination to oily skin :)

You get a nice sized bottle for the price which is super affordable compared to higher end foundations, so you won't break the bank :)

For a lady with an extremely oily t-zone I always tend to gravitate towards matte foundations that last all day with little to no touch up needed as I'm quite busy. I've looked around for an affordable drugstore foundation for the longest time and finally came across this baby, after much needed research.

It claims to be a 24-hour high coverage matte foundation and sounded like the perfect products for me.

I was unfortunate because the lady who assisted me at dischem didn't match me correctly because the shade was too dark and what's worse is that it oxidised on my skin.

I eventually managed to find my perfect match and let me just say that I was completely blown away.
You definitely get more for your money. It's an everyday type of foundation that's easy to apply and definitely more suitable for oily skin types (perfect for me lol ).

Im always eager to try new foundations but this one is definitely one I'll repurchase.

This foundation is quite possibly the best foundation L'oreal has ever made, and the best one in its price range on the market.
When I had raging cystic and nodular acne at 19-21, this was the only foundation that would cover everything. And now that my skin is clear, its still my go to everyday foundation. Also, since I have combination skin, some days I'm more dry and some days I'm more oily - so for more dry days I actually just mix a bit of hydrating BB or CC cream with the foundation on the back of my hand. This formula is very matte but amazingly doesn't curdle, and mixes beautifully with BB creams to create a satin finish.

PROS
- Its best for combo to oily skin (if you have combo, make sure you use a primer on your dryer areas)
-Its coverage is 10/10
-Excellent for photography
-Has a good range of shades
-Fantastic packaging for travelling and squeezing out every last drop
-very long-lasting

CONS
- Some shades in the medium/beige range are yellow toned
- Can look patchy if not applied properly
-Dries very quickly, so you have a time limit on blending (TIP: apply and work in the foundation in sections on the face)

This is a very good foundation, considering you have the right skin type and skintone.
I really liked how this foundation felt on my skin - it was lightweight and full coverage. However, I do have 3 cons:
1. The foundation oxidized on my skin. It looked beautiful when just applied, but became slightly orange after about 20 mins.
2. The product didn't hold up when it came to shininess. My T-zone gets quite oily after a few hours and I expected more from the foundation, considering it is 24-h matte. I do set my foundation with a translucent powder so I wasn't very impressed with the oil-control.
3. The shade range runs very pink (more cooler undertones). I couldn't find a shade with enough of a yellow undertone.

I do think that this will work very well for some, just didn't make the cut for me. I do still use it on clients who are of a suitable skin-type/tone.

This is one of those product where I can say "youtube made me buy it". I saw so many beauty youtuber's rave about this product, so I just had to see what all the hype was about.

Pro's:
This is really an excellent foundation for the price point. It is full coverage, and after it dries down it feels like you have nothing on your face (which is rare for a full coverage foundation). It has a nice scent, and a wide range of shades.

Con's:
In my opinion, this foundation is not suitable for dry skin at all. I have combination skin, but my under eyes are a bit dry - and after applying this foundation, my skin looked really flaky (note: I did use a beauty oil and primer before application). So if you are a lady, that likes to bake the under eyes, this might not be for you.
Secondly, you have to really be quick with your "routine". Once this foundation dries, its DRY! I could not blend my powder contour or cream concealer unless I applied my makeup quickly.
Lastly, this foundation gave me nasty breakouts!

So basically, it is a good product and I would recommend it for my oily girls, but for me personally it did not work.

I purchased this in the shade Golden Beige, which has a yellow undertone, after fantasising about it for weeks because of the amazing effect it had on my skin, after testing it out!
The product offers medium to full coverage, and whilst it feels lightweight on the skin (my face always feels bare if I have to brush my hand against it whilst wearing this), it does look a little cakey if you apply even a little too much. Thankfully, it is quite blendable so a little goes a long way & you don't need that much to cover an area.
It also has great lasting power, leaves my skin matte for hours & does not transfer.
Overall, it's a really decent product & is even ideal for daily use.

Current Drugstore favourite. It is lightweight and creamy and is very easily blended to give a smooth full coverage that doesn't flake off or begin to shine.

As a fan of all of L'Oreal products, I immediately knew this would not disappoint! Not only does it provide a long-lasting coverage, but it also gives a smooth matte finish which eliminates the shiny caked-up look which I utterly loathe.

Even though there isn't a large variety of shades to choose from, the foundation blends really well so you won't have a problem finding one to suit your skin tone. As for skin textures, I would not recommend you apply onto a dry skin, so make sure to moisturize well and use a little bit of primer too.

What I liked most about this product is how easily it can be applied and the lightweight texture that stays that way all day. It's the perfect for a studio-finish look under a harsh lighting and for everyday usage.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quality foundation at a reasonably affordable price.

Finding the perfect foundation for my skin tone can be a challenge sometime, and I love the L'Oreal Infallible 24 HR Matte foundation.

I tried the Cappuccino and at first I thought it might be too light for my skin and that maybe I should try the Mahogany but that looked even darker - so i opted for the Cappuccino and boy was it amazing. It is a nifty little number: a non-cakey, long-lasting, matte-but-not-flat foundation that looks incredible on my skin.

I was excited to use it on my night out with my friends that I forgot to remove m makeup when I got home and I woke up with everything in tact. It is absolutely amazing and worth the try.

This is an excellent "drugstore" foundation. Coverage is exceptional, it is ultra long-lasting and I like that the packaging is a tube. I would say that this might be too drying for drier skins, but an excellent affordable choice for oilier skins.
