This is my everyday go to, I love it, it applies beautifully removes easily and is cost effective. . I started off using the liquid ink and have just purchased the waterproof liquid eyeliner and fell deeply head over heels for it, it has a matte finish compared to the glossy finish the original has and it dries up fast also when washing it off it doesn't run making you look like a racoon it washes off fairly easily. If you looking for an eyeliner the essence range from clicks is a must!!!

I have hooded eyes so this is definitely one of the best liquid eyeliners for me. The applicator is easy to use and the liner doesn't smudge. One application usually lasts me the whole day.

This eyeliner is bomb! It's my go-to liquid liner.
I struggled a little bit with the brush applicator the first time.
I had to get used to it but after the struggle, my cat eye was always on point.
This eyeliner is awesome for creating thin lines, easy to correct, long lasting and is especially perfect to add on top of any dull liners.

This is an amazing eyeliner! I bought the waterproof version and then I forgot all about it for a while. I struggled to perfect the winged eyeliner so I stopped using this and used the pen eyeliner instead. However the pen eyeliner is not as black and precise as this liquid eyeliner. When I started using this I was amazed! Easy, quick and the most amazing black line ever. I don't think it is best suited for beginners since I struggled in the beginning. I doesn't smudge or budge all day. Would not use a more expensive brand, since this does exactly the same thing! Really wow!

I absolutely love this liner! I've tried some others, and this one is by far the best I've tried. The applicator is not a brush as much as a cone shaped sponge. This is a good thing, since a brush can get feathery, or a bristle can go haywire while you're applying, making a bit of a mess. This applicator is solid, but yields well. It's not too thin, causing me to have to apply line after line. One or two strokes, and I'm done. It also dries pretty quickly.
The best thing for me though, is that it lasts all day, and doesn't flake even in the tiniest amount. Love it.

I have had many bad experiences with more expensive liquid eyeliners and always stick to cheapies as my pocket doesn't feel it as badly if they don't work out! When I saw the Essence Liquid Ink liner for R30 I thought I might as well give it a go.

This eyeliner comes with a fine brush applicator that I liked quite a bit. I am good at using liquid eyeliner and I found it very easy to apply with great precision, but I'm not too sure if the finer brush would be ideal for beginners.

It dried fast and didn't smudge or get into the creases of my eye.

The colour was a nice dark black and didn't fade too much as the day wore on.

It also comes in a waterproof version that goes for R34.99, but I haven't tried that one out yet!

This eyeliner retail for around R39.99 at Clicks. The eyeliner fluid is a very richly pigmented black colour and has a slightly creamy texture. It dries to an opaque matte black finish in just one stroke and it takes less than 30 seconds to set. Once set the liner is completely waterproof and can only be removed with makeup remover (bi-phase or cream based removers work well). The brush is fine and flexible but not flimsy which makes applying the liner a little easier. It still takes a little practice to get the perfect line but once you have the hang of it its easy.
