After 4 weeks of using this serum with the rest of the Clarins Bright Plus range I must say my complexion is more radiant, and the dark patches and spots are reduced. I saw a difference in my complexion on the 2nd week of using the range, however my problem areas (Hyper pigmentation) which are my cheeks, mouth and chin area became darker or the the darkness was more visible. As a result I am using the serum only on those areas now and my skin is starting to even out. A plus for me is that it did not break out my very sensitive skin . I am sure with continued use my skin will be completely evened out.

The serum has left my complexion evened out and much brighter than before. I used it at night in conjunction with the night cream. I found the night cream combined with the serum to be drying to the point of leaving my skin with some dry patches. A serum is always good under you moisturizer.

Clarins Bright Plus Intensive Brightening Smoothing Serum is a very light, easily absorbed serum. The serum is enriched with plant extracts in particular Sea Lily and has a fresh botanical fragrance. I do not think my dark spots have lightened but my skin does seem to appear brighter whilst fine lines and pores seem smoother and less pronounced. Clarins Bright Plus Intensive Brightening Smoothing Serum is reasonably priced as I consider it a luxury brand of excellent quality. It is surprising how little one needs per application thus a 30 ml bottle will last quite a while. If the budget allows I would definitely repurchase this product and recommend it to be used in conjunction with Clarins Bright Plus Brightening Repairing Night Cream.

So serums are all the rage these day and with good reason. It is a concentrated effort to feed active ingredients into your skin. That is pretty awesome.

I recently receive this one to try out, however, it was only a 3ml tester which personally I don't feel like it is enough to gauge a solid opinion on. Nonetheless, I have been using it for a week and a half at night only (I feel like it would be a waste to use it during the day since I had so little).

I like the feel and the scent and it goes on smooth and makes my skin feel good. I guess because I have been using it in conjunction with my day lotion and night cream it has been doing a rather good job working together to luminise and brighten and the lot. I wish I had more though.

I guess it's time to save up and get me the full size soon.

After at least a month of using/testing the serum my face have become immune to this moisture. I could not go a day without applying this serum before my creams. Like I have said before this I have never used a serum & i tried days with & without the serum & you can definitely feel & see the difference. It holds the products longer in, Illuminates my face even more & it has helped my skin transform into baby soft skin, every time i apply a Clarins product I am bound to just run my fingers over my face..
I am continuing with this product!!

This is my final review for the Clarins Bright Plus Intensive Brightening Smoothing Serum. I have been using the product for about a month now. I have never been big on serums, but with this serum I don.t feel like I am just adding too much on my face. It is light and easily absorbed so it disappears quickly and does not feel heavy. It has a scent but not over bearing. The scent also disappears quickly. It is packed in a pump bottle so you do not have to worry about wastage. So this is what I have experienced after a month:
- Improved complexion, definitely brighter
- smooth and plump skin
- Acne scars still visible but I'm sure with continued use they can lighten as well.

I used the serum in conjunction with the day lotion and night cream. As a primary layer, it's hard to say if it does what it says it does outside of the moisturisers. As mentioned in my initial feelings review, it is pleasant to use. However if you have dry skin and dehydrated skin, do not expect exceptional moisture.

I have had an awesome time using the Clarins Bright Plus Intensive Brightening Smoothing Serum. It is very lightweight on the skin making it perfect for use with other products. Using this serum in conjunction with the other products in the Bright plus range has enabled me to see a dramatic improvement in the texture of my skin and a slight improvement in the brightness/radiance of it. The products really complement each other excellently.

The serum absorbed easily, felt good on my skin and my day lotion and night cream sat comfortably on top of it. On everyday application, it made my skin smooth to the touch and it felt hydrated and tightened without feeling uncomfortable. As I continued to use it consistently with the other products in the range, I noticed that my skin was looking clear and slightly brighter. It was not an overly dramatic change but it was noticeable. The serum was excellent at calming redness I experience from time to time. Some of the dark spots I had have started to fade and I am hoping to see more positive results with prolonged use of the range. This serum also had me using my primer occasionally because my makeup sat perfectly on my skin without using a primer. A little goes a long way with this serum. I see myself purchasing a new bottle once the current bottle I have runs out.

First Impressions: This super light serum simply glides onto my skin leaving it with a beautiful healthy glow. Not shiny, but glowing! With ingredients such as Sea Lily and Alchemilla extracts my dark spots will soon be a thing of the past. It absorbs easily and has a lovely scent. I have been applying it every morning and night for 7 days, after cleansing followed by Clarins Bright Plus Hydrating Lotion or Clarins Plus Intensive Brightening Repairing Night cream. I noticed my make-up looks perfect the entire day and my skin brighter. I love that it's a pump dispenser, I get just the right amount for an application. On the downside, the price is a little steep, but for a product that keeps to its promise, this splurge would really be well worth it!
Final impressions: I’ve been using this serum for 5 weeks now and I only have good things to say about it. I applied it EVERYDAY before morning and evening followed by my day cream or night cream. I’ve tried using these creams on its own once or twice but my skin feels so much smoother when using it with the serum. I love the scent, it isn’t overpowering like serums I’ve used before. I can’t believe that such a lightweight serum gave me such great results. My first impressions remain, this is a keeper!

The Intensive Brightening Smoothing Serum is incredible.
It melts into your skin leaving your skin feeling velvety soft and smooth. It has a very nice smell to it which is a plus. I have been using the serum for almost a month now and would say that it has improved my skins texture and overall look and feel. My skin is brighter but pigmentation is still visible. Maybe after some more time using the product that too will improve. I actually attended two weddings where I was a bridesmaid, in August. And the make-up artist complemented me on my skin :-) So that says a lot!

Wow, I can't believe it's been a month already. This product continues to stand out for me. Its one of the best serums I have ever used. It has addressed my key concerns of hyperpigmentation and uneven skintone.

Since I started with this product I have noticed a more radiant and even complexion and my pigmentation is definately lighter. I'm still not confident enough to go make up free but I'm sure with more time that will definately change.

The packaging is very convenient in the form of a pump dispenser which is lightly triggered controlling the exact quantity required. The texture is a light non greasy silky lotion which instantly absorbs into skin leaving your skin with a matte finish. The scent is mildly floral and refreshing.

I noticed my skin felt much smoother, radiant and softer. I'm not sure if this is due to the serum alone or using the day lotion and night cream in conjunction on a daily basis.

I felt this product kept up to its claims of 'illuminating the complexion, restoring a healthy glow to skin' and 'helps firm facial features' and 'glows with a youthful radiance'. However I did not find the claim of minimising the appearance of dark spots to be very effective.

So this is my final review on this incredible product....and that is what it is, an incredible product.

I love serums at the best of times but the quick absorption, smooth silky feel, fragrance is to die for and I saw an immediate difference and now 4+ weeks later I am amazed at how the pigmentation mark appearing on my top lip has actually faded, I never thought it would. So yay! Love, love this and would definitely recommend it and will continue using it.

This is my favourite product out of the range. I just love the scent and the way it melts into my skin, instantly brightening my complexion. I feel this product did the most to keep my skin glowing and a little more youthful.

This smooth and beautifully fragranced serum is worth every cent. From the first day I began using this product, I saw a difference in my skin texture. The lightweight serum felt soft and made my skin glow with radiance not oil and my skin felt less oily and my pores weren't clogged. Within two weeks my uneven skin tone began to blend in and my face looked brighter. With every use of this product I saw my skin changing, I had no unexplained pimples and I was glowing.

I have used serums that promised to even my skin tone but this product has promised that and delivered. I am converted and would spend my last dime for this because it has proven itself in quality, delivery and I'm a happy brighter woman thanks to this miracle in a bottle.

I've always been a believer and a fan of Clarins products, and many years back, when I honestly thought they did not cater for black skin. So I was very excited to receive my three products, especially since I have at some trialled some Clarins products, just not this range. I suffer from Pigmentation from not using enough SPF (thanks to the Durban winter sun), being an occasional smoker, plus the pigmentation I never really shook off after my pregnancy 4 years ago. First the packaging of the product is very elegant, which convinced me even further that this was going to work. I loved the pump bottle as it means I could control the amount of product to use. Also, as a Beauty Therapist myself, I know that pumps are more hygienic compared to tubs as one does not keep sticking their fingers in and risking contamination. I have been using the Serum for 3 weeks now, under my moisturiser and my skin feels velvety smooth. In actual fact, on application, the skin feels so smooth, one could get tempted not to use a moisturiser on top. I thought the product would only minimize my dark marks (as faint as they are), but amazingly enough, using this entire range has seen an almost complete smoothing of fines lines on my outer eye. Just a week of using the serum gave me a dewy glow, and everyone was commenting about how plump my skin was looking. So I guess Clarins forgot to mention those other benefits of the product? My skin is definitely looking more even, more toned, and to be quite honest, this is by far one of the best serums I've come across. Yes the price is a bit steep, but the serum will last me a good 2 months as I only use just a little bit twice a day. It's definitely worth investing in! Overall, I'm hooked and so pleased that I got to be part of the review club for this excellent product!

When you look at the name of this product it definitely means the exact same. This has by far been the best serum I have used. It luminates your face leaving it as radiant as ever. I have tried using the creams without the serum and you definitely notice a difference. The serum basically shines through. It has lightened my dark spots around my mouth area as well as the darkness under my eyes. I am stoked to continue this products and see its outcome. I would recommend this for others like me who are suffering untoned faces, dark spots and also to lighten up those spots developed over the years. This was the first time I used a Serum, because I thought that I do not need to use a serum as I am still in my twenties. What a misconception!

My first time using serum love the packaging, the font is bold and easy to read and the serum feels so good on my skin I will be buying it again. The smell is wonderful and I had no Allergic reactions and my skin did not breakout. My complexion has improved and so is my confidence

As an Indian woman, pigmentation is something that I struggle with on a daily basis. I have tried many products and treatments and have been disappointed in the past. My key concerns are uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation. This is why I was over the moon when I was chosen as part of the lucky group of woman to review this amazing range from Clarins.

Naturally, my expectations were high seeing how expensive the products are. Honestly, I am still amazed at how well this has been working. I am pleased with the pump bottle as this dispenses just the right amount (no wastage). I adore the smell, its really feminine. It is an incredibly lightweight serum that just glides on. I have a passion for makeup and find that this acts as a primer for me. It keeps my skin matte and my makeup looks more polished throughout the day. An added bonus, it leaves my skin looking so radiant.

Over all I find it a bit expensive but considering how much money I have spent on treatments that just dont deliver, I think this is definately worth the splurge.

First impressions last forever right? I have two toned skin on my forehead and chin and after reading what this product promises to do I wanted to give it a try immediately. The packaging did leave an impression on me, it looked pricey and looked as though it was of high quality. When I first applied this on my skin it felt light weight and the scent blew me away. The scent together with the light weight texture on my skin refreshed my skin and sense of smell.

On my skin it felt smooth, soft and I immediately realised it absorbed into my skin without any residue being left on my skin. It did not clog my pores nor make my t-zone oilier. After two weeks of use I've seen a change in my skin tone, and on the overall look of my skin. The forehead and chin are beginning to lighten up and I cannot wait to see how even my skin will look by the end of the month.

This product works like a charm. My skin was really bad. it was dry and really looking bad.

Usually I get used to a product and don't smell or feel anything different compared to other products later on. With this product I kept on smelling the light fragrance that smells a bit of ocean breeze and baby powder both. The smell fits the texture as it is soft and so silky.
I still enjoyed the pump dispenser as I know a little goes a long way and with serums, that is what you want!
As for the result the Clarins Bright Plus Intensive Brightening Smoothing Serum have on my skin, I can't say it was this specific product that worked as I was using the range, but for these two weeks so far so good. I found that my skin looks lighter and brighter during the day and didn't get as oily in the T-section as it did with other products. The darker spots I have along with pigmentation have become a little lighter and I do hope that with more time it will continue lightening those areas. My skin feels smoother and that does make a difference in a girl's day...you feel more confident, because you look more beautiful!
Overall I am so happy with the Clarins Bright Plus Range and I will surely proceed with using this product and buying it!

I have being using the Clarins Bright Plus Intensive Brightening Smoothing serum for nearly 2 weeks now and I am in love with it. I love serums full stop but what I really love about this is the texture, so light and comforting. I only use it in the evening and every second night I apply the bright plus night cream over it. My favorite thing is that I can definitely see an improvement in the texture of my skin, much smoother overall, and also I had slight pigmentation happening along my hairline and that has definitely minimised.
I will definitely recommend this product to anyone wanting to minimise uneven skin tone, smooth the texture of their skin and especially people with an oilier complexion, this is great as a night treatment for them. Yay....LOVE CLARINS :)

Receiving my package in the Clarins carrier bag through the delivery service - I was very impressed.
The actual packaging of the product is impressive and the bottles appear very expensive and a good quality bottle.
The pump works very well and gives the right control of getting the product out of the bottle.

The scent is very subtle and definitely by all means not over bearing in any way.

For me the texture is quite thick and heavy compared to the serum i am currently using, but i quite like a heavy serum as i feel it soaks into the skin nicely, leaving you with a beautiful glowing appearance.

Finding the correct serum has somehow been challenging for me. Serums feel good once applied but I personally feel, it's about what your skin feels like AFTER it has absorbed. The Clarins serum has an amazing texture that leaves your skin feeling fresh and moisturized. It has a moderate amount of scent which is just what you need to start of your skin care routine after cleansing & toning. It instantly gives your skin a glowy look and soft feel. LOVE!

I've tried a number of serums over the years for different skin care needs. I always look forward to trying something new, more so because hyperpigmentation has become a real concern for me. I've experienced bouts of adult acne and dark marks are a frustration. My skin has also become drier and dehydrated, so any facial products must treat all of the above.

The packaging is light in my hands. There is no fear of it breaking if it had to fall onto a hard surface. I do wish that there were instructions on how many pumps are needed. I've worked out that roughly 1 1/2 is enough for me. I also wish that I could see how much product is being used so as to know when to restock.

This one has a light scent that disappears once the product has been smoothed onto the skin. It makes the skin feel smooth and slightly hydrated. It does not leave a noticeable film behind.

The real test now is if my skin responds and becomes brighter. I'll check in in a few weeks time and let you know how it goes!

Received my serum on Thursday i was very impressed with the gift bag it came in and the actual packaging of the product is good quality and the white and red colours on packaging gives it a fresha appeal.
My first use was yesterday evening had a sensation as i was applying it. The pump dispenser also helps with portion control.
I have just used my second application this morning i love the texture and the smell is bearable its not irritating in anyway.
