When I started using this Brightening Clarins range, I felt a bit like I was cheating on my old skincare products. But I didn't need to feel bad. Me and 'Saloncare' weren't exclusive. Anyway, Clarins came along and swept me off my feet with its stylish packaging and sexy pump action. So we went on a few 'dates' - mostly in the mornings - and i think I'll probably keep Clarins in my life.

Here's why:

It's smooth and light. It smells great. It's gentle. Caring. Doesn't smother me due to its handy measured pump. It loves me and with SPF 20, really protects me.
Above all, it makes me feel good and look good... which is what choosing a skincare partner is all about.
If there was one gripe I have with it, it's something I'd almost certainly never say about a man - but it could possibly be a bit too rich for me. I sometimes felt my skin was a bit oily a few hours after using it but hey... no one's perfect.

Been using this lotion for 3 weeks now and I can see my complexion brightening. People even notice my complexion. My dark marks are lighter..

The Clarins Bright Plus Brightening Hydrating Day Lotion SPF 20 is a lovely day cream!
I love the fact that it has a SPF of 20 in it, which is best for every day use and that i don't have to buy another separate Clarins SPF.

There is once again no over powering scent and about 1 and a half pumps gives you enough cream for your face and neck. 2 pumps if you would like to include the décolleté area.

The cream is very moisturising and a very good consistency.
When in hotter countries and you perspire be careful that the cream doesn't go in your eyes as there is a slight burn.

The cream leaves your skin with an incredible healthy hydrated glow with no sticky element, and makes your foundation easier to apply as your skin is properly hydrated.

The packaging once again is typical Clarins packaging with the brand being very clear and leaving the client with a top quality bottle in their hands. I love the fact that it comes in a pump action bottle for a day cream instead of the tub.

Another plus is that it is an Oil Free SPF, therefore leaving your skin without an oily complexion. This is very helpful for oily skin consumers.
I am interested to see the brightening results over the time i use this product.

I love the fact that this day lotion has a SPF of 20. A major plus for me, The lotion has a subtle scent that will be gone before you know it. Again, there aren't any instructions on how much to use. I found this lotion to be quite rich so I use very little and it is enough. It moisturizes well. Another reason I use a little is because it does make me feel a little shiny. Nothing a little powder cannot fix though. I can't wait to see the brightening effects in a few weeks.

They always say: "First impressions last!"
So a first look at the packaging it is so simple, yet somehow I find simplicity is best. I do think that the information they have on the package and the information on the leaflet found on the inside of the package should somehow swap so that you can read more about the product when interested to buy the product.
The lotion has Sunscreen and I am so glad it does, I never like having to put on extra sunscreen as I have not yet found a sunscreen that does not clog my pores or leaves me with a oily tone throughout the day.
The fragrance is subtle, yet refreshingly blossomy! I like!
The texture is a light to moderate lotion that does not leave your skin oily and all day I can actually see a difference in the lightening already....or maybe it is just me!

I find the packaging to be very convenient in the form of a pump dispenser which is lightly triggered. The bottle shape and colours look aesthetically pleasing and classy. It is heavily scented for my liking but not as overpowering as the night cream. I find the texture to be perfect. Its not greasy or heavy and easily absorbs into the skin without much massaging leaving a lovely matte finish. I have used the serum before applying the day lotion and my skin feels super soft. I find it useful to have an spf of 20 so I can skip the separate sunscreen step.
