Yardley Stayfast Pressed Powder

This has become a must have for my make up routine and really does a fabulous job.

This is one of my staple makeup products that I have been repurchasing for years and years. I always buy the Shade "Caramel" as I have medium dark skin but tan very easily and I am also yellow toned so I tend to go for deeper shades. This has been the perfect go to powder for me since my teen years. I use it as a bronzer in winter months and in the summer when my foundation is a bit too light, I just dust this all over my face to colour correct instantly.

It really is a Stay Fast powder that will sit all day! On my lazy days, I use absolutely no foundation, only some concealer and I dust this all over my face to get one even skin tone...almost like you would with a BB cream. The powder blends really well and it is not muddy/dirty looking on the skin at all. I do love it and I usually buy it on promotion where you get the original and the refill in one box for the price of 1. It keeps the shine away without making me look unhealthy or cakey.

I deliberately wanted to buy a deeper colour and make it contour powder, and this product did the most for conttour! I loved it then, I love it now!
It is finely milled and very soft and smooth to the touch... I also found it refreshing that it came in so many shades that accomodate women of colour, because most retail makeup brands are not friendly when it comes to colour selection for women of colour.

I was quite impressed with this one, and when I was the price, I felt like it was a STEAL for such a great product! It got mine from Clicks :)

I have oily skin and I love that the Yardley Stayfast Pressed Powder actually helps keep my skin in check! Because I don’t wear foundation or makeup every day, I also love that I can just wear it with my BB Cream and I still look flawless.

Yardley claims it provides “a matte, even finish with a light, silky texture that helps control oil without drying the skin,” and it actually did all of that for me and with the Chestnut shade, the effect was a lasting sheer mattifying effect.

I never leave home without it AND it’s such a budget buy ?

I've been using Yardley Stayfast Products for as long as i can remember and I've never been disappointed.
The same goes for this powder. Its lightweight, Highly pigmented , comes in a wide range of shades so there's hardly a chance that you wont find your shade. It goes on smooth and sets your makeup to perfection. When used in conjunction with Yardley Stayfast Foundation, its a winning combination.

Its extremely budget friendly and DOES'NT compromise on the quality. The only bad thing i can say is that it rubs off a bit too easily and breaks when its nearing the end of the product.

However with that said for a 100 bucks its a beauty must have!

I bought this product for the first time a few months ago, I was low on cash and the affordability of it was the first attraction. I have since fall in love, I little for me goes a long way and its a light wear. I also love the fact that it has a colour that fits my complexion well. I hate the fact that it breaks easily when it fall though, had to replace it twice already.

I love this pressed powder it last long and it suit my skin very well.

I cannot live without it, all my friend are using it too now.
The shades match perfectly with my skin as I transition between three throughout the seasons. Since I am not really big on foundation it gives me enough coverage yet still feels light and you can hardly see it.

It does indeed stay on for hours and hours, I often ask myself why I have it in my bag as I never really need to "powder my nose" during the day.

As long as I do not drop it, it stays together. I love the double refill packs Dischem often has. Amazing!

A month ago I bought Mahogany by mistake only to find out it is my colour not Mahogany and even when I'm in the sun it doesn't make me go orange but blends in well. Price is great and I always find it on sale and oh it's not as heavy as wearing foundation. very natural and covers up well!

I used this a will back. I say this because I dropped it on the floor and it broke so I had to through it away. I was upset because I was so in love with it! I really need to repurchase it soon. I used it with my Yardley Foundation. It worked so well together. It smells great and not to over powering! My makeup lasted all day with this powder. I love the packaging as well. There is nothing bad I can say about this! Its worth the price as well!

This is one of my most favourite press powder, try it once and never looked back. portable container and doesn't break easily when it falls, soft matte touch, covers sports and no shine. I apply it once or twice a day depending on how busy the day is and occasion; and budget friendly.

This one has lived in my cosmetic cupboard and bag since I started wearing any sort of makeup and after trying a whole lot of different powders, I have to say this is one of thee best.

It's affordable but the quality is not compromised. It does a great job and it has so many different shades that it is near impossible not to find the one that suits you.

I reckon this will stay with me until I am old and wrinkly.

Absolutely love this powder. It's the best I've ever used. So long wearing and doesn't leave you looking cakey if worn over foundation.

Yardley Stayfast Pressed Powder

This powder works very well on my skin, blends in very well & i do not mind buying it. What discourages me from buying it is that it does not stay intact in it's container it breaks and end up spoiling my cosmetic bag. this has happened twice i am not sure if it gets damaged by other cosmetic items but i cannot figure out how since every item has it's own container buy it is still a good product to buy like i said i will still buy it.

This powder is amazing! Why?:
1) The price is great.
2) One can buy a refill at even a lower price than the whole compact.
3) I like the presentation and look of the product. Fits nicely into one's handbag and love the mirror.
4) This little powder is effective and give one's skin an awesome matte look and prevents shine throughout the day.
5) Really effective. Even works great on my dry skin that has some acne marks.

Can recommend this product to one and all to at least give a try!

i have always shifted gears between every powder that fell into my hands, until Yadley pressed powder came along. i love the feeling ,the texture and the way it simply completes my makeup regardless of foundation brand!

It really feels like my second skin which is why sometimes I even forget I have make-up on. Smooth is the best way to describe this product. I think it's the best choice I've ever made when it comes to make-up, without any influence. Mahogany is the perfect shade for my skin along with the Stayfast foundation (caramel shade).

I have been using Yardley Pressed Powder for many years since I was in high school and became aware of that dreaded oily shine.
Back then it came in a square container and a lot less shades.
However Yardley quickly became aware of the growing demand of make up that catered to darker women and increased their shade range greatly.
I started off using their darkest powder (beige something) which was too light for me.
However after much hit and miss (including coming out grey and ashy in some photo's!!!) I have happily settled on Caramel Fudge 07.

I love this shade! It matches my skin tone almost perfectly!
The powder itself is of a fine consistency and provides a smooth finish that gives great coverage.

It lasts for quite a few hours. And the really great thing about Yardley powders is their affordability. They are real value for money and now that they cater to such a wide range of skin tones, I would recommend them to anyone!

I've only started using this press powder recently and at first I didn't like it as I didn't see any effect on my skin. Once I started using it correctly and more often I fell in love with it!! No oily residue, my skin is clear and it does not look like I have way too much make-up on. Its perfect!

I love the caramel one, blends perfectly with my skin colour. I bought mine at Foschini's and it was higher than the recommended price but worth it. If you have in between medium and light skinned (like me) try caramel instead of beige.

This pressed powder is one of the greatest out there and in very high demand. This can be seen by the fact that you always battle to get your shade and the price has gone up to R100. It provides a natural matte finish which lasts all day and does not clog pores. The packaging is plain but the puff is expensive looking. Also the offer of a refill saves you money in the long run.

At R89 for the pressed powder and R69 for the refill, this powder is a must for all makeup drawers. It goes on easily; blends and covers well; is light and easy wearing.

I have tried many powders and often found that many of them did not have the staying power to make my skin look good all day. This one lasts really well and if you don't tough or wipe your face too often, it does last a full working day. Another great thing is that even though it is long lasting it doesn't cake on your skin and prevent it from breathing. Having sensitive skin, I find that this powder is perfectly suited to my skin type and does cause rashes or breakouts. On hot days the product does help to keep the skin matte.

The powder comes in a nice blue plastic compact with a mirror and sponge inside. The refills slot nicely inside the compact and doesn't move around inside. I do like this products but sometimes I do wish that they had made the compact a little more special so that it becomes a joy to keep and look at.

A great value for money powder that performs wells.
