What I like about the product:
The pigmentation of this mascara is really great. Yardley really meant it when they said intense black. It is the most intense black mascara I have used, which I absolutely love because it made my lashes very visible. One coat of mascara is more than sufficient (I would not advise applying more than one as it gets very clumpy)
I also like the fact that Yardley created such a colourful packaging for this mascara. In the photo it looks blue, but it’s more a turquoise colour. It makes it very easy to find when it’s in between all your makeup, or even in your hand bag.
The formula is definitely waterproof. It didn’t budge with regular water-based eye makeup remover, you need a good oil-based eye makeup remover to remove this. Definately a good thing especially during the hot summer months as it won’t run down your face when you sweat or from a few tears from jokes and one too many cocktails ;)
Although the formula was very thick (not my preference) it did hold my curls. I know that waterproof mascaras generally hold curls better than non-waterproof ones, so I can’t say whether the non-waterproof version of this mascara will hold curls. But the waterproof version I have definitely holds my curls (which is amazing)

What I don’t like about the product:
This mascara does give a lot of volume, but it clumps your lashes together. It does not separate your lashes as well as the Maxfactor mascara that I have recently been using. So I look like I have 6-8 long, visible lashes. (See photo if you’re interested of how this mascara looks on my lashes)
I didn’t like the brush much as well as it was quite big (not as big as Benefit’s Bad Girl Lash but bigger than most mascara wands.) Also, with the way the brush is made the mascara formula forms big blobs on the wand and you have to scrap off the excess. I didn’t like this because it got very messy and even after scrapping most of the mascara off, there was still enough to make my lashes clump in a not-so-good way. The big brush also made it hard to get to all my lashes without putting most of the mascara on everywhere BUT my lashes. I also found that this mascara transferred onto my eyelid throughout the day, which I didn’t like.
