A nice product as well. Not as rich and creamy as Body Shop butter. Doesn't absorb as quickly either. The vanilla fragrance is terrible. May have been better if it was more subtle perhaps?

One of my ultimate favourites! This has a delicious smell and is great for moisturising dry skin. But, because it is so thick, one should use it sparingly.

I was given a set of three mini Woolies body butters and Vanilla was one of them. Personally, I really enjoyed the aroma - and thought it was quite subtle. This butter definitely has a very thick oily consistency just like the girls mentioned below but at the same time you can tell it feels more natural. I love the Body Shop butters too but it definitely has tons of silicone ( always listed very high on the ingredients) and that it what gives that silky smoothness. Woolies butters definitely stick more to natural oils and I commend them for that. But bear in mind that this butter is best for the driest of skins (not normal skin types). I used all three (the other 2 were Tea and Almond) when my skin was so dry it was itching like crazy and I would develop a winter dry skin rash. I found that it actually created a barrier and helped to lock the moisture in due to its thickness. If you are the type of person to go for natural ingredients over how it feels, then check this out. Otherwise, it is definitely too thick and sticky for a quick rub and go.

I totally agree with Chicara about this body butter. I bought this ages ago but stopped using it as its so super thick that its actually really difficult to rub into the skin. Its also very greasy and I don't like the way rubs off on my clothes and makes me feel sticky and sweaty.
I generally love body butters but this one is awful and I'd rather stick to The Body Shop. They know how to make a good body butter without leaving you feeling like an oil slick.

This is a very thick body butter from Woolworths. It has a very strong, artificial vanilla scent. It's very sweet. I didn't really like this body butter as it has a very thick consistency and when your skin finally absorbs the cream it leaves a slightly oily and greasy feeling when you touch it.
It contains some fabulous ingredients like sunflower seed oil, shea butter, avocado oil and beeswax. I'm guessing the beeswax is to blame for the greasy texture. It does an average job of moisturising, but it's hard for me to look past the scent and the consistency. This butter works fine before bedtime, but I definitely wouldn't use this on a hot day as the residue left by this would be a disaster.
It's a well-priced body butter, but I didn't enjoy using it and in actual fact still have half the tub in my bathroom cabinet.
