Want to Keep “Granny Hair” at Bay? Here is How!

If you spot a grey hair, never pluck it out as TEN will grow back in its place! Luckily this has been debunked as an old wives’ tale, but I still hate seeing those funny little white hairs sprouting every now and again along my hair parting. It’s a sign that I am getting older YUK! Where are my tweezers!!!?

If you have spotted grey hairs don’t worry, you don’t have to start booking your weekly shampoo and set just yet! And you can pluck your grey hair with tweezers out for now, you won’t get ten in its place, but you will eventually get more. It is the natural process of getting older. As you start going more grey though, consider dying your hair blonde if you are dark, as blonde naturally blends better with grey. Dark hair tends to emphasise lines and wrinkles. If you are already blonde, add some highlights and lowlights for your hair. Don’t go too light though, as there must be a contrast between your complexion and your hair to avoid that washed out look.

Going grey can look stunning though if your hair is kept in tip top shape. If you opt to go this natural route, at least you won’t have to be bothered with touch ups every six weeks.
