Veet Suprem'Essence in-shower hair removal cream for normal to dry skin has been specially formulated to give you smooth skin in just 3 minutes. It works even on very short hair for luxuriously smooth skin that lasts for up to 4 days. The special formula means you can use it even while you shower - simply cover the desired area with cream using the soft, coloured side of the sponge provided, wait for 1 minute and step into the shower. Don't worry if the cream starts to wash away, just direct the water stream away from covered areas for the first 2-6 minutes of showering, then wipe off the cream, using the white side of the sponge to pull dissolved hairs away for impeccably smooth skin. Advantages are: there’s no risk of nicks or cuts as in shaving, hair takes longer to grow back and, when it does, is softer than shaved hairs. This is because razors slice off the ends of hairs, leaving sharp edges which are in line with the skin and become exposed within hours, resulting in a prickly feeling. I cannot use it under my arms, it seriously burns there!
I bought this over Xmas and it doesnt remove everything and in places it feels like the hair broke off short and is still spikey.
Sticking to my normal razor for now i guess
MY IMPRESSIONS:
1) The first MAJOR plus was when I opened the tube I was not gagging with the normal "hair removal cream" smell. Wow, at last a smell that I can stand. A great soft flowery smell with only a vague linger of the old "nastiness" in the back ground. YAY!
2) It works on shorter hair, so you do not have to wait to look like a werewolf before applying it.
3) It removed all the hair and did not leave patches as I have experienced with some creams before.
4) It does leave one's legs silky soft and feeling moisturised, not bumpy at all.
5) According to the product info one can start washing off in shower after 2 minutes. I have played safe and washed mine off after 5 minutes. (One is not supposed to leave it on for longer than 6).
6) Hair took at least 3 days to grow back.
7) Hair grew back a bit thinner and softer. YAY!
8) Price is great! Normally R79.00 for 135ml. I got mine on special at PicknPay for R55.00. A bargain when you consider that you only apply a small amount at a time and also what the price of razors are.
LASTLY: I am happy to say I will stick to this one for a long time. Only a SIGNIFICANT improvement to another hair removal cream will make me consider changing brands in future. MUST HAVE! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!
