Using blush in my everyday make up routine, I needed a brush that was going to execute the application in one stroke.. This brush by UBU does it for me :) Blends the powder so well into the skin, making it look natural.. This brush is reasonably priced, considering the good quality and effectiveness of it, & it lasts a life time - with proper care and cleaning

I love the way they made this brush, reminds me of the one in the Mac range except it's about R269.99 cheaper than the Mac brush and works the same.

The UBU collection of brushes are new at Clicks stores and this brush costs R99.99. The brushes brightly coloured and immediately caught my eye. You can’t really tell from the picture but it’s a duo fibre brush with fine white fibres showing above the thicker pink fibres. I’ve always wanted a stippling brush but there was no way I could justifying spending R400+ for a MAC 187 makeup brush. Because it’s my first (and only) stippling brush I can only compare it to my regular foundation brush. I think this brush is really great for applying liquid foundation. When I use a regular foundation brush it can leave streaks but the stippling brush leaves a smooth even layer of foundation on your face. There are many You Tube videos and blog post dedicated to how to use a stippling brush so if you want to see how they work you should check those out. The UBU stippling brush is very soft and not scratchy when dry although it did feel rougher as the foundation started to moisten the fibres but I’ve read online that that is a common occurrence in duo fibre brushes as the wet fibres are stiffer than the dry fibres. I did lose a few hairs when I first used it. When I washed the brush with shampoo it bled a lot of that pink colour and lost a few more fibres. I would still recommend this brush and would also love to try other brushes in the collection especially those cute purple eye shadow brushes (R24.99).
