UBU - Screen Preen Powder Brush

I loved the look of this brush. The pink is very cute and sets it apart from the usual black brushes.

I was disappointed to find that the bristles are quite coarse, and it feels a bit harsh on the skin.

On the plus side, I haven't experienced any fallout of the bristles yet, and I have had it for about 6 months now. I use it to apply bronzer, and I'd say it does the job pretty well (other than the bristles feeling a bit harsh.) For the price I'd say it's of average quality and gets the job done, but if you have sensitive skin I would recommend opting for a softer brush.

I truly loved this bush from the first time I saw it. I love the color and styling of the brush, it's something different to the standard black. The bristles are very soft and I've never had any fallout of bristle hair. I find that every application is perfect due to the brush. I have to say I love most of the UBU range.

The brush is great for emergencies on myself but I will never use it on a client. The bristles shed way too much and it is very very coarse; which does not only irritate the skin but is not great for application since it gives a blotchy look. If this is a quick buy for home use, I'd say go for it but as a makeup artist it is a big no-no.

This brush was love at first site. I absolutely loved the colour, it looks amazing in my kit. But unfortunately the quality is not great. I have washed it numerous of times and the pink is still coming out and I find the blush or powder doesnt go on the brush as well as others and end up spending more time trying to apply my product.

This brush has hot pink bristles which are very soft. The plastic zip bag it comes in lets you know that you need to wash this brush before using it. The color washes out not only on the first wash. I have washed this brush about 3 times and each time the color fades a bit more. This brush is definitely not colorfast.

However, this being said I still like this brush. It is soft against the skin and it picks up powder very nicely. It does its job perfectly well and looks pretty while doing it. For a budget brush it really isn't a bad buy. It hasn't shed at all and washes easily (besides the color running). This is a nice little brush to use for powder or bronzer if you have a beauty budget and you need a powder brush.

I love the look of these brushes and they always attract my attention. They also always have cute names.
