Tip Top NailChic Nail Polish in Triple Putty

Tip Top Nail Polish is an affordable nail polish brand, which provides your nails with added Vitamin E and moisture. It is free of formaldehyde, dibutylphthalte, toluene and camphor (whatever that is). On the packing it says that it is long wearing, fast drying and chip resistant. It also says that you only need to apply 2 layers of colour. This is the first time I have used this brand. I bought it at Clicks (sold exclusively there) because the colour reminded me so much of OPI’s “Metro Chic” which is R100-R130! The colour Tip Top sells is called “Triple Putty”. I had to buy it when I saw it was R36 after 20% discount because of Click’s beauty sale. I had never heard of this brand before but thought it can’t be too bad if it is sitting along Nubar nail polish. Lovely colour, but I had to apply 3 layers to get the look I want. The formula is very liquidy, which I feel is too liquid for me. The brush applicator is like your normal nail polish. I prefer the maxi brush that comes with the new Rimmel nail polish – must easier to apply and it gives a nice even coverage.
