I love this stuff! It leaves the skin feeling so soft and silky. I normally wear it on top of my foundation or on its own.

This is a tad different from the OG. A lot of people don't enjoy the original, because it does not do much for them.

Even I have to apply a hydrating primer all over & then go in with the original version in my t-zone. You also have to pat / press as it has a tendency to ball up.

With the pink version you will find it to be more hydrating and a little less silicony. So, it actually works well by itself and applies & spreads out much easier.

It does have a brightening effect, so women of colour beware if you are going to wear this without makeup - it will make you look ashy.

Got quite a few mini versions of this primer and I use it now and then. Pores isn't a concern for me so I cannot comment on what it can actually do for enlarged pores. This primer does feel very nice on my skin and preps it nicely for a smooth foundation application. This primer cannot be worn on its own though as I noticed it gives a little white cast on the skin.

Absolutely an incredible primer! It makes all your pores disappear, it’s like a new smooth layer of skin! Really helps blend out foundation and helps your makeup stay on for longer.

What a star. You can instantly see your pores disappear. Just swatching it on your hands makes you want to use it as a hand cream, it does THAT good a job at filling in fine lines and pores. Silicon based, so be careful if that irritates your skin.

As someone who has enlarged pores using this product has been a game changer for me. This completely covers and fills my pores making them invisible underneath foundation.

I would not recommend to people with oily skin or large pores (everything this product is based on actually). not even an hour later and I have oil patches everywhere and my pores look even bigger than they were before I put it on. It feels really nice when you put it on and it instantly blurs and mattifies, but it does not last. Plus its so expensive so I'd rather not. I got the mini to try it out - maybe do that before you commit to the fuller (more expensive) one.

This is my primer of choice. I totally love that it hides pores and fine lines meticulously. The texture is smooth and it blends into my skin very easily. Sometimes I just use the primer only with no make up.

This is such a beautiful primer! Now I know why it's what all the big Beauty YouTubers use. Instantly I can see how much smoother my skin feels. The product is not oily or silicone based but more of a creme/gel consistency. My make up definitely lasts longer and does not make my skin oily halfway through the day. Love it!

This product is gorge.
I only realized how reliant i am on it when i had forgotten to prime my face with it before applying my foundation. It's a soft texture, aiding in smooth make up application, as well as minimizing the appearance of pores for a more flawless, radiant look. The price is steep for the volume of product in the packaging, however you only need a pea sized drop for a full face application. My only concern in using this product is blocking up my pores and the subsequent skin conditions that can follow, however i haven't had too many skin problems since using it.

I have tried maybelline baby skin and other brands but however i really find this is best for me.

This product simply does what it says.
Hides pores and wrinkles meticulously.
However I found dupes that work almost as well for everyday make - up. I use this product when I'm going out for special occasions and for shoots when there's harsh lighting and long hours.
Dupes are Smashbox (very good) and Maybelline (good) primers which you can touch up with NYX Mattifying spray or matting sheets.

I initially recieved this product as a sample and was so impressed that I purchased a full size.

It helps to minimize the appearance of pores & fine lines for smoother-than-smooth skin, used under or over makeup. It is not a primer but merely a balm. It is silicone based.

I watch a lot of American beauty you tubers and they rave over benefit cosmetics so when it was finally in South African store i had to try their products. It most obvious product on the top of my list was the porefessional primer. Initially i thought the price was too steep for the amount of product and the product in general but once i tried, it all made sense haha, its totally worth it.

This is one product I can't live without! It a 100% does what it promises - it hides your pores! This primer has a nice texture, and makes your skin look and feel smooth and youthful and it has a nice scent. The price is quite steep - but the primer lasts quite a while, which makes it worth it. You really only have to use a tiny amount to get the same result as you would with a cheaper primer. The only negative for me is that it does not really pro long the wear of my makeup, and it does not work if you apply it on top of your makeup (the packaging says that it can be applied during the day on top of makeup, but it just screws up your makeup, trust me!).

So in short, this primer is perfect for hiding pores , and making the skin look and feel smooth.

The Benefit Porefessional primer is one of the best mattifying primers available in the market. I have always struggled with large pores around my checks and the benefit Porefessional is great for this problem and this is just the answer to all my oil and large pores face. This primers gives you a smooth and mattified base for your foundation to give you a beautiful and flawless finish. It feels smooth to the touch and does fill-in your pores. It is a great product to purchase and great thing about it too is that it keeps the oil locked in a lot longer than when you just applied foundation with a normal primer. The great thing is that this product is available locally and the price point is reasonable considering that it last way longer at least for me. I love this product and I would definitely recommend it for someone looking for a pore filling and mattifying primer, it is really great for that and you won't regret buying it.

I received a few samples of this primer and was excited to try it because I've seen so many Youtube gurus rave about it. I have combination to oily skin so i needed something that would mattify my skin as well as provide longer wear with minimal touch up with my foundation. This primer provided a smooth canvas for my makeup and make applying my foundation easier. I loved the way it felt on my skin on initial application so i had high hopes. After a few hours of wear i checked my t-zone because that's the part of my face that gets super oily and i must say, i was quite liking the results. I didn't touch up, just to really put it to the test and see how much longer i could wear without and any touch ups. After 8 hours i looked my normal oily self and definitely needed to touch up. This is a great product especially for ladies with oily skin. It definitely makes ones skin look flawless and smooth. Only negative comment is the price point but i guess you value for your money and a little goes a long way, so one tube should last you quite a long time.

This is an instant fix for anyone with large pores, it blurs them away instantly and creates the perfect canvass for make up. My make up goes on smoothly,looks flawless and stays put even on the most humid of days. A little goes a long way although i still find the price steep.

I have used primers that cost less and still do a good job but benefit ,for me, is a cut above.

Benefit is one cool brand. The packaging of this cult product is so cute and so funky! The product itself speaks volumes! A little bit of this magic potion is enough to create a silky smooth canvas! Pores disappear like magjc( really!). And your foundation truly lasts longer! The key to flawless I say! Love!

I have been using this primer for about a week now and I am just loving it. I have noticeably large pores and this primer does a great job of hiding them. My foundation goes on like a dream over this primer and lasts all day. The only disappointing factor is the price - I paid just over R400 for this product. Saying that I, have used similar, if not better primers. Such as the Loreal Miracle Blur - which I think is an amazing primer and for a decent price I would rather repurchase the Loreal instead of the Benfit again.

as soon as I woke up the next morning for work I took a tiny amount and spread it all over my face focusing on the places where I had a few larger pores , it covered them perfectly, after applying my foundation over it - my skin looked AMAZING! but then after a few days of using this product my skin started to become really dry and patchy :( ive stopped using it for now , will give it a try later again and see if it still has the same drying out effect

I have mixed feelings about this one. It definitely blurs pores and it definitely smooths the skin's surface ensuring a flawless make-up application. It also smells pretty awesome!

However, it does not do much in terms of oil control. When I pair it with my Estée Lauder Matte Perfecting primer though - they work so so well together.

It is quite pricey, but I will repurchase this product. An awesome addition is that it comes in a travel size that is priced just right for when you really cannot afford the full size.

I received a sample from BB to test. I must say I have tried a lot of primers and Benefit The Porefessional is definitely a winner. It provides the perfect canvas for foundation and my makeup did not budge the entire day even in Durban's heat, was no need for touch ups! It is pricey but I would say definitely worth the investment. Fantastic product!

I have recently had the pleasure of testing this wonderful little product.

As we all know... buying and trying new products to find the perfect one can become costly. (R125 for a 7.5ml tube).
At Benefit, you can buy a small tube at a fraction of the price. You only need a pea size amount, so the tube last you quite a while. The cream is a bit thick, however it feels smooth on your skin. Allowing you to apply you foundation over it without a "cakey" feeling.

I believe it is a "must have" for any make-up user. Love this!

I've tried so many face primers that it scares me. I was a little scared to try the Porefessional out, despite the good reviews, as I've been let down by so many primers in the past.

I found out that the Benefit stands actually sell a smaller tube than the regular size - ir's 7.5ml for R125, which is pretty reasonable, as you only need a tiny amount for it to work.

It's a sort of nude-y colour, and quite thick, and I smoothed it onto my skin, concentrating on the problem areas where I have larger pores, or where my skin starts to shine during the day.

My makeup went over the primer so flawlessly, and lasted so so well throughout the day. To top this off, my skin looked airbrushed and so smooth and even!

This stuff is just as good as all the reviews make it out to be, if not better. I'm now an addict, and will be purchasing a full size tube when I've finished this one.

This gorgeously silky smooth cream is a little miracle-worker! It has a light beigy-caramel colour that seems to just blend with any complexion. It smooths over enlarged pores and seems to fill them in leaving a smooth canvas on which my foundation just melded with so effortlessly. It has a very faint fragrance and the cream most definitely allows make-up to set much better and it seems to also prevent oiliness of the face under the make-up even at the end of the day. I had no idea that this product was a primer, as I have never used a primer before, bar one day which was my wedding day. This product is something that I will definitely purchase on a continual basis. You don't need to use a lot as a small blob on the tip of the finger can cover an entire cheek ensuring perfect coverage. I am very impressed with this fabulous product and my make-up has never looked more professional thanks to this lovely cream.

This is honestly the best primer I have used to date. Gives you a silky, super smooth surface and makes your make-up lasts really well, even in heat.

I got a sample from a friend, and it was a really lovely product. I've never used a primer before, and this made my skin feel soft and smooth. It made my foundation stay put the whole day, which was great since I didn't need to touch it up. While it was great, I'm not willing to spend so much on this, when there might be a cheaper option out there that
would suit me as well. But I would definitely recommend this to everyone.

After receiving this product, the pores on my face were blurred out and it allowed me to apply my makeup base easier and left a flawless finish. I really loved this product and see what the crazeis about!

First try - Primer

I got sent a sample of this to try and I was very happy with the result!! It is the very first time I have tried primer, can you believe it?! I have always been too afraid that a primer will make my face shine and make it super oily, well this product has proven that theory wrong :-) I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

I love primers. This is because I am usually in a rush and the primer does a brilliant job of filling in pores and creating a nice smooth canvas for my powder (yes, I do not wear foundation all the time because I am lazy). And I have used my share of different primers.

To be completely honest while I did like this one for it's presentation and smell, I was not blown away by the products main feature. This is simply because I have used much cheaper products that do pretty much the same job. At R395 a pop, it is a little stiff. Also because it is silicone based, it doesn't really help my oily t-zone much.

That being said, it is a lovely product in pretty packaging and it smells much better than most primers I have used. It does it's job as a primer but I really cannot justify the price.

I find it hard to review primers. I really enjoy using this primer. It does the job of filling in your pore so that your foundation can apply and look smoother on your face. I liked the fact that it has a tanned colour to it because a lot of other primers are see-though. I don't think its something to get too excited about because there is a lot of much cheaper products that can do the job just as well. But it works and that's what counts!

So I tried this out the other day and I love the texture of this primer - it's smooth, silky and get's absorbed really fast. Because it absorbs so quickly, it's easy to use too much of this product. A little goes a long way, though so be careful.

Once applied, it sort of blurs your pores -- like how using blur in a photoshop would work -- and it made my foundation look a bit better.

I'll definitely be using this till it's up but because I don't wear a full face of makeup everyday, I'm not sure if it's worth it for me to buy.

I recently reviewed this product and I must say I am really impressed!

I love that it keeps your skin shine free all day and has such a great texture. I have tried a few primers and so far this has been the best. You don't have to use a lot of it and it is super light. I was also very happy with the fact that I could use it in place of eyeshadow primer and that it works just as well. The product has definitely lived up to its reputation in my books.

This has definitely become my go to primer!

I got sent a sample of this to try and boy am I happy I did!! This is by far the best primer I have tried. It has a velvet feel once applied to your skin which I absolutely love. I have a combination type skin and by 10am I am extremely shiny. The first day I used this I noticed such a difference in the shine to my face. I didn't have to blot the whole day. I would definitely purchase this and recommend it to my friends.

The price it a little ouch but nothing I cant get over besides, I know I am making an investment because this primer just creates the most silky canvas for applying your makeup.

Many youtubers swear by it, Im gonna giv it a try I hope it works well.
I have large pores on my nose nd its hard to get products that will actually minimise them before wearing my foundation.

An absolute winner in effectively reducing the appearance of pores and priming skin! Pores are visibly filled after application, and my skin texture appears smoother and less uneven. Make up lasts longer and doesn't set into lines and creases!
