a wonderful addition to any bath time regime! a wonderful exfoliating glove, fits all hand sizes and made from great quality materials. Don't use too often and always moisturize after use! I would recommend using with caution if you have sensitive or easily irritated skin
love love these! ultimate bath or shower accessory (i have a pair for the shower and the bath)
great for keeping skin glowing and even toned and lovely for before shaving legs to help prevent ingrown hairs and gives a smooth finish. they are cheap and they last long and you can get it in a color u like or to match ur bathroom , iv got pink and green
go buy it if you dont have it! :) they even have a cloth version thats great
My exfoliating gloves are from Clicks at R29,95 and help keep my skin smooth and deal with cellulite.
I use the gloves 2-3 times a week once a week with a good body exfoliator and my skin is nice and smooth. Helps with ingrown hairs also. I'm yet to try the Body Shop gloves but believe if the product is not plastic it works well and can last.
Overall I recommend the gloves and they come in cute funky colours and they are affordable which is a great plus!
I have only ever used Body Shop gloves and I have never branched out to another brand mainly because these are fantastic. They work all over your body and you can even use it on your face as long as you use less pressure of course. They last FLIPPING long (more than a year) and they really work well. Once you are out the bath/shower you feel a tingling sensation on all areas that you have exfoliated and then you know it has done its job :)
Mine are from the body shop and they work brilliantly as an exfoliant either on their own or with a scrub! They enable u to exfoliate ur feet hands neck and just about any place you can reach! Why do i hate them! Cos they are so cold n soggy in the morning from the night before's use and a shock to ur hands and body! Kinda a jump shock to the day!
One doesn't have to buy expensive scrub gloves, i find the ones at clicks are amazing quality and work exactly the same! After all, it's not about the price its about the effectiveness and they all seem to work just fine with a great exfoliating product!
I have had a pair of these in all colours, but the pink is by far my favourite. I love that it's girlie and pretty. The Body Shop exfoliating products are all fantastic. The gloves are great for achieving an even exfoliation all over the skin. It is gentle on the skin while still being effective.
I read that one of the reviewers complained about these gloves not lasting well, but as with most products that are exposed to hot water and soaps, it won't last all that long. I wouldn't suggest using one for too long as these types of products are hot spots for bacteria. I usually replace my gloves every second month and switch up colours.
Other exfoliating gloves cost between R15 - R20 and some places only give you one and don't have a handy loop to hang the gloves up to dry. If you want quality you sometimes have to spend the extra R10 or R20.
These are really good for intense exfoliation. I personally can't use them every day as I find it too harsh for my skin but 1-2 times a week gives me great scrubbing action. They are awesome to use before self-tanner as someone else here mentioned. It really gets to those hard to reach places to ensure a smooth tan. I love how easy they are to use in the shower with just a bit of shower wash. Really recommended!
I love these and use it once a day ! it is too costly as I have to replace mine every 3 months , they stretch out and loose some colour and tend to look tachy if I use it for more than 3 months . BUT I will not make use of anything else.
They look like a regular pair of exfoliating gloves/mitts. Just like the cheap ones you get from Clicks or Pick n Pay. BUT these are a lot rougher and therefore exfoliate a lot better. I think they are meant to be used in the shower with body wash/body scrub. But to be honest I don't ever use them like that. I use them to exfoliate my skin before I apply my gradual self tanner. I also use them on my knees if I notice my tanner is thicker there. I sometimes get a bit of a rash if I use them on my legs, but that's only if its too soon after I've shaved. They are very rough so redness does appear, But I like these a lot as they work nicely to get rid of dry skin.
