TCB Bone Strait Conditioner and Blow Dry Lotion
HotThe Bone Strait lotion by TCB, serves as both a conditioner and a blow dry lotion. It comes in a red 200ml bottle and can be purchased at your local clicks or dischem. The packaging of the product states that the product adds moisture and sheen as well as it detangles, softens and smooths. The part that im most interested in is that it claims to keep hair smooth(since i have a head full of hair that would make Mufasa-from the Lion King feel ashamed). Furthermore, Bone Strait is a thermally activated conditioner and blow dry lotion that gives hair more shine and manageability and besides TCB products being targeted for women of 'colour' i think that this product can be used on all types of hair. There are various applications in which one can use this product namely for curly and natural styles, weekly conditioning(a mask), before blowing hair and for damaged hair- obviously when using it as a mask or treatment one has to use much more of the product than when using it as a blow dry lotion where one uses a little amount.

The trick is to not apply too much onto your hair or else it comes out really oily. It's not an easy to find product as most stores don't stock this anymore.
So if you are able to find it, I recommend that you buy it and try it.

First I comb some Bone straight into my hair followed by a few sprays of the Heat Defence Styling Spray. I then roughly blow dry until about 80% dry. I add some argan oil to my tips and then finish off with a blow dry brush.
My hair has never looked better and I have barely any visible heat damage (and I blow dry my hair every 2-3 days).

Al like you need is small amount to rub in to wet hair . This assists in blow drying your hair straighter and helps keep out the frizz.
It's also a good conditioning lotion for hair and helps make hair shinier

As with all products, I am sure it can become heavy if you use too much of it, which I suspect is what happens when you use it for blow drying. As someone who never blow-dries their hair, I found this a perfect leave-in product.
I would recommend this product to Caucasian ladies as well as those "of colour" (sic) as it seems to work for all hair types.
It does smell slightly like eggs, but it does the job and is very cheap, so even if you don't like it, you won't be wasting a lot of money! :)
I noticed that, initially my hair stylist used to use the Indola 4X4 blow style lotion on my hair but then as months went on, the Indola product disappeared like Hoodini and this product Bone Strait was now used on my hair- later on i found out the reason for this was the price.
Anyone who blow dry's their hair will understand the need for a small amount of hair protectant to resist humidity, keep the sleekness of the set and protect against heat damage.
Whilst shopping at clicks, i was over the moon to find that clicks stocks Bone Strait and the price was a mere R11.99. This is excellent because one only uses a small amount if blow drying and that means that the product has the possibility of lasting a long time. Upon application of the product, it makes ur hair feel as if u have applied conditioner to it, making it feel softer and detangling ur hair and i really concentrate on rubbing it into my ends.
i have used many other products and the end result in comparison to your other more expensive straightening creams or blow style lotion is that this product performs average. One will not go 'woooooow my hair is so shiny and glossy' with this product but it does assist in repelling humidity and making hair soft and more manageable.I used this product for years and would suggest it to anyone with a tight budget.
