I have to divulge: I am not a regular applicator tampon user.
But here my review goes - and why I will be sticking with non applicators.
The first two I tried were disastrous.... I didn’t read the instructions as I was I a hurry and thought to myself... I am a smart girl... how hard can it be...
Well turns out, reading the instructions is a very good idea... trust me!
So this month I tried them again and decided that they are not bad at all.
The tampon itself is not as rigid as non applicator ones which allows it to absorb from the moment its inserted. This is good for heavy flow!
The wrapper is hygienic, colourful & cute, love it! Wont say it looks like a candy but it certainly doesn’t necessarily scream "look at me, I'm a tampon"
My problem comes with the applicator itself... Its nice thin plastic so its not an uncomfortable process BUT
Women’s bodies are not a one size fits all. I found that if I use the applicator as instructed the tampon does not get deposited deep enough. I then had to manually adjust.
The applicator if not gripped far enough away from your body will pinch you.... not pleasant.
So with me the issue is that the applicator is just too short. But it would probably work great for other ladies!
I'll use the rest of the pack I got but doubt I would buy again.
