It isn't horribly overwhelming like most women's fragrances. It does have an initial punch, but after a minute or so, it is a light, subtle scent. I usually used to us 1/2 - one spray and no more than that. It is not necessary.
I havent used it for years, and then when I bought my gran for her birthday, it brought back such wonderful memories of when my mom was still alive.
For the price the ever lasting smell is very much worth every penny!
