Sudocrem has a water-repellent base which forms a protective barrier, therefore helping to stop any irritants coming into contact with the skin. The emollient effect of Sudocrem can help to soothe sore, inflamed skin whilst leaving the skin feeling soft. Sudocrem can also be used for other skin conditions that require a soothing, protective antiseptic cream with additional healing, antibacterial and antifungal properties. Use a small amount and apply in a thin layer. Massage in small circular movements until the Sudocrem has disappeared leaving a translucent film. If this does not cover the affected area apply a little more. However, if the area stays white after application, too much has been applied. Suitable for use by babies, adults and the elderly. Hypo Allergenic. Gentle but effective, it won’t sting on application. It helps a wound to heal and forms a protective barrier over the vulnerable area.

This product is definitely NOT just for babies with nappy rash.
I use this for absolutely everything! sunburn, pimples, sores, eczema, rashes, bites, stings, you name it! It really is a miracle product and I always make sure I have some i n my bathroom cabinet. Another plus is that the tub lasts ages because you only have to use a small amount.

I mainly bought it for nappy rash which it is VERY effective for, but I had dry patches on my cheeks which I applied it to one evening. The next day the skin was much softer and I only had to apply once more to have that area smooth and soft. I was really impressed.

There is a stereotype surrounding sudocrem that it is just for babies, it definitely is not. Sudocrem can be expensive but can last you a long time if you use it sparingly.
We have used it for nappy rash, dry skin, help tattoos heal, dry heels, cracked lips - you name it.

This product is amazing. I used it as a barrier bum cream for my newborn baby, a nipple cream and even cracked skin due to sun burn, which healed within 2 days. It is a tad more expensive than most products on the market but well worth every cent spent!

This product is amazing and has so many benefits. It's great for sensitive skin or skin prone to breakouts and even rashes. I even used it when I fell and grazed my thigh really badly and it helped heal the wound within 3 days.

I only used this on all my kids bums, it worked like a a charm protecting those sensitive areas. Its a bit pricier than the rest of the bum creams but way worth it.
I love the thick cream consistency that always creates a protective layer around on the outside and soothing from the inside. The pot locks up tight, but its still not "Child-proof" which is something they can look at doing.
And for a even more potent combination for that time your baby's bum did burn mix in it a little bit of Gaviscon ( neutralizes the acridness) and a bit of Mercurochrome (dries it out and speed up heeling)

I mainly use this product for pimples because it dries the pimples overnight. It comes in a large tub thats seems to last me quite a while so great value for money. The only problem is it a bit difficult to wash of with water it will take a while so I use a face wash to wash it.

This product is really fantastic, worked wonders for my eczema and my son's nappy rash while he was on anti-biotics.
It really does fulfill its promise to heal nearly every type of skin rash.

Although a little pricier than most nappy creams, this is by far one of the most effective nappy creams. If my son is a little red or tender, one application sorts him out. He has also had to be on anti-biotics, and a week of using Sudocrem religiously, really cleaned up his rash. Other than the obvious use of a bum cream, it's great for any sort of redness on your face, spots, pimples, czema, rashes and even sunburn. I have to agree that the packaging could be a little better but hey, when a product is so great - it doesn't matter!

Wow, love this product. Have only used it on nappy rash - really bad nappy rash and it works beautifully. Fast and effect. Goes a long way. Packaging is unattractive and don't think I would have bought the product unless it had come so highly recommended. This one is a winner.

I had first come across Sudocrem in the States where it's used for nappy rash. I then went to the UK and had a whole new experience with Sudocrem. No I'm expecting and will be using it for myself and my daughter (hopefully its a girl)
