After three weeks I have amazing looking skin, I'm super impressed by this range. Would I recommend it to any one.
Well I haven't worn make up for two weeks now due to the amazing skin I now have, so yes why not.

I got the mini version because it looked so cute sitting on the shelf ,I couldn't resist . It is a firming body butter and with regular use I've noticed a bit of firming up in my thigh region where I mostly use it . It's thick and creamy in consistency and absorbs quick . It makes skin feel soft and supple .

It's a nust try ladies.

xoxo

I bought this Day Cream because I ran out of my normal Nivea Serum and I couldn't find it on the shelves. I spotted this Sorbet range and decided to give it a whirl.

Sadly, I found the consistency to be quite tacky and rich. More like a body butter than a facial moisturizer. It wasn't absorbed quickly at all and found that it was "too much" for my skin. It was incredibly nourishing but definitely not a quick slap-it-on-and-go type of moisturizer. Its great for when you're not planning on wearing make-up or primer or foundation, otherwise I find it quite heavy.

It contains Q10 repair which fights the visible signs of aging and Matryxil Synthe6 which is age fighting vitamins, help keeps skin nourished. It promises to firm skin and will lessen wrinkles with prolonged use. I cannot comment on this yet as I've only been using it for two weeks.

I do, however, love the smell. It has a luxurious, sweet fragrance...

I also prefer something with a pump action dispenser as I find their is less wastage and I tend to use too much if its just, dip-yer-fingers in and gauge.

This product would be awesome for ladies with a super dry skin or dry spots.

I've jumped onto the Sorbet bandwagon and opted for their cream cleanser, which has anti ageing properties. The cream cleanser contains vitamins A, C & E and Q10 .

This removes all traces of my make up, I've been using it for some time and have noticed my skin feels more supple and smoother .I've never been keen about cream cleansers but this one's a keeper !

This product is an awesome product to use daily. It makes your skin feel soft and even and the ideal preparation prior to applying foundation. A little goes a far way. I would however not suggest a person with dry skin uses the product as it may have a drying effect for that skin type. For oily skin this is amazing

I paid R95 and R220 each for a 150mls pump bottle milky cleanser and a 50ml dropper bottle.
Not impressed with packaging for cleanser.it is cheap and my bottle broke leaving me to decant the rest into another container. The cleanser contains Coenzyme q10 and vitamins A C and E.i apply mine after the cleansing oil into wet skin;massage and rinse.
Its comfortable on the skin and very gentle.
The power serum is quite a delight to use.delicately scented;in a dropper bottle;a clear thickish feeling serum that absorbs cleanly.the serum contains MATRIXYL;coenzyme q10;vitamins AC and E
and synthe 6 which are Sorbet's key ingredients to anti aging.
Its wonderful to use as results are visible from the first application.
Try it.

The “pinks” developed specifically for mature skin (over 35s) that the signs of ageing skin are a concern. The 6 products in this range are an intense anti-ageing solution for a more plump youthful appearance with reduced appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. The magic ingredients are Q10, Matrixyl synthe’6 and vitamins A, C and E. I was given the day cream (R169.95) which smells like fruit cocktail very hydrating and not too thick so easily and quickly absorbed. I also received the lip and eye repair serum (R154.95) most eye creams can be used as lip balms (if you were wondering) due to the hydrating properties. I used it as an eye cream and I find it very hydrating and absorbs really quickly.

I used the Eye and Lip Repair Serum for just over a week so far.
With regards to the texture it has a pretty lightweight texture that glides and absorbs into the skin easily without leaving a sticky/greasy residue. At this time of the year my skin peels from dryness due to change of season but I must say since I've been using the serum the delicate skin around my eyes feels soft and hydrated and the fine 'laugh' lines around my eyes have become smoother. As for my lips, I usually moisturize my lips at night before going to bed and it leaves the same smooth non-greasy feeling on my lips as well.
I am impressed with this product, it is worth the price.

Oh, I have so much love in my heart for Sorbet. Ever since I've discovered the salon franchise, I couldn't exactly picture going anywhere else for that well deserved mani, pedi or facial. I've been to several branches all around Cape Town and had NOT ONE disappointing service.

Great was my excited as the franchise was starting to expand her beautifully manicured feelers towards products, and collaborating with Clicks. Now you could take a piece of Sorbet home with you and experience your own spa treatment in the comfort of your own home. I was particularly excited when I heard about the latest skincare range being launched. When I was offered the Sorbet Age Affect Day Cream with SPF15, I was all over it - I know as a 27-year old my skin is starting to show little signs of things I haven't really worried before - little crow's feet that won't go away, freckles that get darker and darker and won't leave, etc ... I know that it's feasible to start caring for your future skin ASAP, but ag man, what's that tan and naughty social cigarette between friends? (don't do it, kids. Seriously, don't).

This is what the Clicks website had to say about the new Age Affect range:

'Skin regeneration slows down as we age, wrinkles begin to appear and skin becomes less firm. Sorbet Age Affect contains a scientific combination of powerful actives (MATRIXYL® synthe'6TM/ Gatuline® Expression/IdealiftTM) and age-fighting Vitamins A,C & E to help combat the signs of ageing and restore your skin, resulting in a healthy and youthful appearance.'

Basically, a lot of big words and scientific gobbledegook, but overally, something awesome to look for in a skincare product. Well, I could live with these qualities.

So, I've been using the Day Cream in the Sorbet Age Affect range for a week now and so far, I'm impressed. The packaging is playful, yet elegant - the pot is sturdy and a great asset on my bathroom counter. But except for that, this day cream is rich, yet easily absorbed. It has that typical 'sunscreen' smell, but not heavily perfumed at all. I find that the consistency is thick, but once absorbed, it creates a perfect smooth canvas for makeup. Over a week, my skin feels generally softer and I see less of that 'makeup settling into fine lines and forehead wrinkles' grossness that makes me feel so self conscious (are you feeling me here? Am I the only one?)

The one thing that might be seen as a bit of a disappointment, is the low SPF. Kids, listen to me ... SPF15 is NOT enough ... settle for SPF50 and slather it ALL over your face and chest (and drink water, and eat your greens and DON'T SMOKE!), but overall, I am impressed and actually excited to apply this product all over my skin.
