Smashbox Photo Op Under Eye Brightener love this product its truly amazing and gives your photos that extra pop and glam look with a phenomenal glow

This product gives a nice youthful glow to the under eye area. It is also a great base for applying concealer over top as it remains a little tacky and concealer adheres nicely to it.

It is not drying at all, in fact it hydrates nicely throughout the day. It is not glittery and it is not very pigmented.

Therefore you should be aware of the fact that this product will never cover your dark circles.

I would say that the light reflecting properties and the hydrating formula is meant to improve the look of fine lines.

I would definitely buy this again.

We all suffer from this maybe after a late night out on the town or just feeling a little run down and then the dreaded under eye dark circles come along. Unfortunately i get really dark circles which I hate so much because they change how my skin looks, so I'm always on the market to look for something that could help with just that.

So after you finish your skincare routine and ready all you do is apply the tube comes with a wand with a brush tip for application and disperstion of the product which makes it so easy, apply then dab the product in with your ring finger and that's it.

Great product that helpd hide dark circles. Its a small tube which I think cost R130 but you use such a little that it lasts a long time.
Great for when you are tired and need to look refreshed. Also helps your eyes standout.

I love this product and it was my first smashbox product I ever bought.
This is a lil beauty and really is the only thing that hides circles properly. I also look so much better in pics, my eyes look better and my skin a great glow above the cheeks.
Its light unlike most concealers and quite thin but still looks great. I use it as more than a concealer as I gen dont use concealer everyday nor this but if I want to look great or going out.....this is a must staple.
Woolies beauty section have testers and sometimes samples, so go a test this lil beauty, its worth it

I recently purchased this product when passing through Jo burg airport to get back home to Cape Town. I had no prior information about this eye brightener so it was definitely an impulsive buy. I just said a lil prayer and handed over the cash! * GULP!* ( Retails at Woolworths for R160.00 )

I honestly have mixed emotions about this item and it turns out I'm really not the only one! After tons of research about this product I came to the realization that the internet is set ablaze with confusion! It seems everyone has split personalities with the mere mention of this eye brightener :O

So here it is ..My honest review after much thought on the topic...

Smashbox PHOTO OP Under Eye Brightener/ Illiminateur DELIVERED: A touch of sparkle under the eye area that is only visible in certain lighting conditions. A base for my regular concealer.

Smashbox Photo Op Eye Brightener is not a concealer alone. It is more of a primer for concealer that lightens and brightens the eye area as well as hydrates it before applying your regular concealer of choice.

The little tube has a brush applicator and the product is lightly tinted. It has light reflecting particles that brighten the eye area and moisturizing ingredients to soften lines.

Before concealer, apply Photo Op Under Eye Brightener under eyes and blend out using fingers. For a lifted and youthful appearance, highlight the inner corners of the eye and orbital bone. You can even fake a plump pout by dabbing Photo Op on the top of the cupid's bow.

I should add that I don't have dark under eye circles so I don't think it will work for you if that's your biggest problem area. it's a rather sheer textured cream so it doesn't provide heavy coverage.

Mixed feelings about repurchasing :( I'm going to try and create a natural glowing make-up look with it and use it as a cheek bone highlighter instead. I make my final decision after the results.

This product is really great to apply before applying your under eye concealer because it contains so many healthy and beneficial ingredients that pampers your under eye area before concealer application. It contains boosters such as vitamin E, red wine extract, peptides and marine collagen, all of which helps to disguise and repair fine lines. I definitely see a difference when I apply this and when I don't. The product itself doesn't give alot of coverage, but it does slightly brighten and moisturise the under eye area so that your concealer looks better over it. There is a definite difference in the visibility of lines around the eye area when I apply this product. My concealer always looks much smoother and hides my dark circles more effectively when I've used this product.

I love this product,actually I love any product that does what it promises.
