I am a verry picky woman when it comes 2 foundation that I put in my face.so the reviews of smashbox photo finish convinced me 2 try smashbox photo finish, the only problem I had with my old founation is that, when I take pics I look like a ghost.so I decided 2 try photo finish.what I really liked abt it is,its a anti-ageing primer with spf,I was verry happy 2 found-out smashbox came out with anti-ageing primer spf 20 with Dermaxyl Complex.it leaves my skin looking flawless, end its reducing the appearance of lines &pores.you need 2 use a pea sized amount per application & yes it protects, corrects its all in 1 kr kr kr,my skin looks better & beautiful.I'm so falling in love with photo finish,my pics looks gud now!!!

First impression: "A pea size amount of product is not sufficient."
Turns out, a pea size amount is really ALL you need per application. I've used this every day for just over a week now, and (most importantly to me) I haven't had any negative reactions. Having a semi-sensitive, reactive skin type this is always my first concern.
I've used this with and without makeup. There isn't a noticeable difference in the appearance of my skin after application, but photos say otherwise - pores and fine lines are blurred and softened. When applying makeup, I only needed about half the amount of the BB cream I usually apply, for more or less the same coverage. The texture of my skin was definitely better after applying the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer SPF 20 with Dermaxyl™ Complex, but that is to be expected from a primer. It is hydrating, but if you're specifically looking for hydration, perhaps you should try the Smashbox Photo Finish Hydrating Foundation Primer.
My makeup definitely lasted longer with less touch-ups needed. It is gentle and effective around the eye area as well as on lips. I applied this before MAC Brave Red lipstick, with no other lip product, and I got at least an hour extra wear out of it. I did eat a bit more carefully, but that's not unusual of me - I do it whenever I wear red lipstick.
This is a semi-matte primer. It's mattifying enough, without being drying. It gives a very "soft" finish. Not obviously mattifying to the point of looking dry, but not glowy enough to be considered "radiant". If "glowy" and "radiant" is what you're looking for, try the Smashbox Photo Finish Luminizing Foundation Primer.
I'm enjoying this product, and have added it to my every day makeup bag, where it'll happily stay. I look forward to trying the Smashbox Photo Finish More Than Primer Blemish Control Primer - it contains salicylic acid which is one of my favourite ingredient superstars and extremely benfeficial for all skin types. (avoid if you're allergic to aspirin, though.)

I have always been the biggest fan of primers and as a makeup artist I know the importance of a good primer. For me, no makeup look should ever be created without a primer.
For many years I have used Smashbox primer and it is a staple in my makeup bag.
Of course as we get older, our skin care needs change and so do our beauty products.
I was absolutely thrilled when I found out Smashbox came out with an anti-ageing primer.
The new love in my life.....Smashbox Photo Finish foundation Primer with Dermaxyl complex AND, get this, an SPF 20. The folks at Smashbox know how to do it right!
My skin is rather dry so you can only imagine how much more dehydrated it gets in winter.
The Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer with Dermaxyl complex has been a lifesaver. It keeps my skin feeling hydrated the entire day while keeping my foundation in place.
This primer as with any other Smashbox primer leaves your skin looking flawless by reducing the appearance of lines and pores. It creates the perfect canvass for you to add your foundation upon and my skin felt amazing.
One might look at a tube of primer and think that it is rather small for what you are paying, but you literally need to use a pea sized amount per application, so the product goes a very long way.
All in all this product most definitely does exactly what it says...Prime, Protect and correct in just one step!
