I am OBSESSED with keeping my eyebrows in perfectly groomed shaped!! That being said, after numerous mess ups with a few beauty technicians, I no longer seek professional assistance with regards to keeping my eyebrows in good form. I wax, shape, tweeze, trim, fill, seal (You name it) my own eyebrows, so naturally I am always open to try new eyebrow enhancing products to keep my eyebrows looking full and natural.
I have not had any experience with wax before, so I was really keen try this out. I know wonder how I have ever lived with out it!
So to start off the pot is kind of small, but I understand that this is of an older line as the new Brow Tech comes in a trio (with an addition of a taupe color for filling in brows), But I'm happy that I have this duo as I have dark brows so Taupe would have been useless to me.
I started off by cleaning my face of any excess oil. I then brushed my groomed eyebrows into its natural shape (Using a cleaned mascara wand). Using my angled tip brush from Avon, I then proceed to apply a tiny bit of wax to the length of my brow (The wax is meant to be applied after the powder as is meant to keep all the hard work nice and sealed in for long and smudge proof wear, BUT, i find that when I did this, it kinda messed up all my hard work and I had to do touch ups, so hence me applying the wax first)
After I was happy with the wax application I then proceed to apply the powder in short upwards strokes in order to achieve a more natural looking result. The powder has a nice velvety consistency and picks up quite easily on the brush and takes easily to my eyebrow hairs.
When I was done I applied a tiny more bit of wax to the bottom area as well as the outer edges of my brow. I was left with beautiful, full and natural looking brows. It stayed put all day and did not smudge (Even with my oily skin).
I love this product, OMW, like you would never believe. I hope they still have it on sale next month as I would like to get another 2 pots for keep sake!
