Smashbox 24 hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer

I love this shadow primer, I never used to use a shadow primer, but when i gave this a try i really noticed such a difference

- its silky soft
- shadow glides on beautifully
- lasts all day long
- really great quality
- ofcourse you have to pay a little extra for good quality

I have never used a shadow primer before, but having incredibly oily eyelids I thought now was the time to invest in a decent shadow primer, and I'll be honest I was sick and tired of having NO make up left on my eye lid by the time I got home in the evening.

After trying the Smashbox Shadow Primer out for the first time, my first reaction was 'Why on earth have I never bought this product before?!!' It worked so amazingly!!!

It went on really smooth and my lids didn't feel heavy or any different at all.
My shadow lasted ALL DAY, and I'll be honest in saying, I wasn't using the most expensive eye shadow, so that's not the reason, the reason is this amazing primer!
When I point out my eye shadow, people can't believe how well it stays put and doesn't crease.

The only thing I need to warn you about, it make sure you put your eye shadow on the way you want it first time, cause to 'blend' away a mistake is now more difficult.

But, really, probably one of the best buys I have made in the last few months! Do yourself a favor, you will not be disappointed!

I got a nice size tube of this in one of my rubybox, along with a setting powder,
It makes my skin feel super smooth, I cannot believe the difference, and my foundation goes on so easily that I plan on buying one when this tube is finished! A little goes a long long way and it spreads and absorbs like a dream, I use a pea size amount for my face and neck area!

Smashbox is renowned for their incredible quality of makeup, and I was excited to review their newly released 24 Hour Photo Finish shadow primer.

I am one to apply colour to my lids, as I simply love the way it makes my eyes pop, however the weather conditions may not always be on my side, causing my shadow and eyeliners to smudge. This is not a great look, and having to reapply and touch up makeup is more of an effort than anything else.

Well, I have found the solution to having beautiful eye makeup to last me all night-without looking like I stepped out of a horror movie with makeup running down my cheeks!

Smashbox's 24 hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer is a perfect addition to my makeup routine, as it really DOES last 24 hours, and enhances the colour pigments of the shadow or liner, leaving me looking dazzling as ever.

A little goes a long way with this primer as you needn't apply a lot of the product to see results.

Smashbox has also changed the packaging from the applicator tube to the squeeze tube.

After about 8 hours my shadow looked as if I had just applied it, without creasing or fading, and my bottom lash line liner required minimal touch ups. I should note that I have very long bottom lashes, and suffer from seasonal allergies, therefore my eyes water constantly, making it impossible to not have to touch up my eye makeup.
