Sleek i-Divine Mineral based Eyeshadow Palette

I never would have thought that I would prefer these eyeshadows to some of the high end stuff I have.. These mineral based shadows are a must have ,rich in color and long lasting as well as affordable...i prefer to wet my brush before application because this prevents the shadow from falling onto my face which does happen with these shadows
.With a wet brush I get a more dramatic look.. I love the shimmers in the shadows ,its basically one of the things i look for when buying eyeshadow.. Highly recommendable product.

I purchased this palette recently from Foshcini after reading Sleek Makeup on several blogs. There were several palette options for the treat price tag of R150, but I knew that the first option should be The Original palette.
These are mineral based eyeshadows and honestly a little goes a long way, if you have too much product on your brush you are going to get fall out, instead I prefer to have the tiniest amount on my brush and then adding more if necessary.
The eyeshadows are more shimmery than matte but they mix very well and are a great mix of neutrals and colors in this palette.
This is possibly one of the nicest palettes that I've bought recently.

My personal favourite product from the Sleek makeup collection is their i-Divine eyeshadow palettes. I have three palettes at the moment Original, Storm and Bohemian. The Original palette is a selection of very bright colours, the Storm palette has more neutral colours with a few dark colours thrown in and the Bohemian palette has been "inspired by Sienna Miller" the colours are vintage metallics interspersed with bold matte primary colours.

The colours are highly pigmented, bright and shimmery (some palettes in their collection have matte and neutral colours as well). The colours in these palettes can be used for a multitude of different looks from subtle day looks to all out glamorous and bright funky combinations. The eyeshadows are mineral based and very soft which means that while they are buttery and easy to apply they do leave some fall-out when used with a brush. I find there is less fallout when I use the sponge applicators that come with the palette initial and then blend with a make up brush. My advice would be to do your eye makeup first and then your foundation. I've been using this product for a few months now and am totally impressed with the value for money that they offer. The retail price is R99.95 at Foschini stores (I have seen that the Original and Storm palette are on sale in October for R79.95). I plan to buy more of these palettes which catch my eye. I really love this eyeshadow palette! However, there is quite a bit of fallout with this product. I usually hold a tissue under my eyes to catch the fall out because it can get quite messy if you don’t. You can easily increase the intensity of the colour of the eyeshadows by wetting your brush a bit, or spraying it with a bit of Fix+.

The packaging is nice and sleek with a huge mirror inside (which is always nice). It comes with a two-end applicator which applies the shadows nicely but doesn’t always give the best precision. I prefer using my own makeup brushes. If you asked me I would recommend using the MAC 239 flat shader brush and wet the brush a bit to give the best effect.
