Semi Permanent Mascara

Please not that I am reviewing my experience of having this procedure done. I am not sure if it was Lashcoat or not so I can not comment on that specific brand. I am merely giving my opinion on the procedure.I had a semi permanent mascara treatment done mid last year at Your Make Up Box which is situated in Diepriver (unsure if it is still there). My experience with this procedure is that i found it extremely painful to have it applied, as the solution dries fairly quickly, the therapist which worked on me (also the owner) had to brush out my lashes after each coat (before it dried completely) as to separate my lashes before they clumped. this was repeated numerous times, with me wishing it would be over. I took my contacts out for the procedure, but needless to say i left with bloodshot, burning, watery eyes which was painful. After numerous eye drops, my eyes were back to normal the day after. My eyelashes where absolutely gorgeous - but they were terribly hard with no movement in them at all. it irritated my eyes for the duration they were on, and I could not wait until they wore off. Everybody has a different experience, but I had a terrible one, with the application, as well as the actual results of the procedure. They looked gorgeous, but the effort to attain those results for me are not worth the bother. I would rather stick to the usual Mascara.
