I used this cream when I was on Roaccutane. For those who don't know it is acne madication that shrinks your oil glands and makes your skin extremely dry and sensitive. I was only on a mild dose but really suffered the side effects so I can't even imagine what people who go on full dose go through! And by the way, the Roaccutane didn't help either so I suffered for nothing for almost a year!

Anyway, let's get to the cream! As I mentioned, at the time my skin was reacting to anything and everything and literally burned when I applied most products on my face. I read up that this cream is meant for skin that is extra dry or aggravated by topical treatments. And it really did work. It is super emollient so only meant for people with dry skin or in very dry climates (like Joburg gets in winter). It is not oily as such but just feels rich. It really calms that feeling of tightness. I recommend this if you are battling with burning and dryness!

There is however one thing I didn't like. On the package it says that this cream is frangrance free and it is. BUT it does have a hint of a smell (not frangrance but smell of the ingredients) and I really didn't like it. It is hard to describe it: it could be a smell of hemp (I never smoked it - I just heard other people desribe it as that LOL) but to me it smelt a bit like some kind of lard. It is not strong but being on my face and around my nose I was quite aware of it. Maybe it is just me! I recommend to sniff this first in the store before purchasing it!
