Rimmel Sun Shimmer Maxi Bronzing Powder in Sun Goddess

This bronzer provides perfect pigments for contouring, for enhancing features and just plain bronzing. It comes in a flip lid container and it easily applied with a brush. The only thing I didn't like was that the powder cake broke easily which left it messy and hard to get a reasonable amount of product on the brush. Depending on your handbag size, this might not fit in even though you really should take it along with you everywhere for the amazing book it gives ....

I found this to be a very mediocre bronzer if you are looking for a proper (Kim K) bronzed look. I would suggest using this in the Winter for that perfect flushed look :) also looks lovely dusted on shoulders thoough - especially in the Summer time.
It is also VERY affordable.

The previous one I bought was amazing, but the recent one for some reason is a bit too dull, its a different colour though.

The first time I bought this was amazing, the second time I couldnt find the same colour, so the one I have now is not great. Do they still sell these?

this was on of the first bronzers I have used. was not a fan of the big compact, and after one fall, it crumbled to pieces...so the 'cake' of product itself was not as sturdy as it should be. the colour I found to be abit too 'orange' for my complexion, so for me, verylittle was needed but required a lot of blending. what I found misleading was prior to its use, before I opened it or used it, I noticed a lovely golden shimmer on the surface, which is what attracted me to the product, however upon usng it, the shimmer had somehow vanished..barely a hint of shimmer. I was sad because at the time I was NOT looking for a matte bronzer

The name was very catchy to me.
I found this product to be a little too much for my skin if applied with frequency.The colour is very intense,so you have to apply little.
It does hold well on the skin,however dries the skin a bit.
I find it to be an average bronzer,not my favorite.

I was recently given this Rimmel Sun Shimmer Maxi Bronzer to try from a friend. While it looked great on her medium skin tone, it didnt do much for my darker skin. I couldnt see much difference to my face when I put it on. Maybe it was just not the right colour for me?

I love Bronzers. I have so many, yet it's simply never enough. I received this one as a prize from BB and it has to be one of the most amazing bronzers I've come across. The bronzer has the colours which are split and in different hues of gold.

I love the look bronzers gave me because I have a medium skin tone and it gives me a gorgeous and beautiful glow which I really can't get enough of. This bronzer can actually be used as a bronzer and double up as eyeshadow, I've tried it as the eyeshadow but it's really shimmery so it would be perfect for parties but not regular day time usage.

I used an angled brush when using this bronzer so I could get a more defined look. I dusted the bronzer on my cheek bones. WOW! This bronzer was smooth and shimmery, it gave me a beautiful glow with a light shimmer which catches the light. I love the way it set, with a perfect non oily feeling.

I would recommend you give this bronzer a try. I has a beautiful mix of colours which are light and dark but turns out perfect on skin, it is available in another colour called Gold Princess which is for lighter skin.

I firstly absolutely in love with the size and packaging of this product. It was honestly purchased on a whim but a product that I've loved ever since. Its a beautiful bronzer that leaves a sun-kissed glow with a hint of shimmer. Being Indian, it matches my skin-tone perfectly and is adaptable to suit many different make-up styles. I wear very minimal make-up and love that this can double-up as the perfect neutral everyday eyeshadow or a neutral base to more daring looks. The mass quantity of this product means that 1 compact has lasted me well over 5months. So its definitely a great value product with dual purposes and a long shelf life.

I had been looking for a contouring bronzer for some time. To be able to contour with a bronzer it cannot contain any shimmer or too much orange colour. It has to be neutral brown that can mimic natural shadows on your face - and none of our shadows ever look orange LOL. I was waiting to be able to afford Benefit Hoola but then stumbled into this baby at Dischem for only R30. No question I had to get it!

The name says Sun Shimmer but oddly the product is not shimmery at all - thus perfect for contouring. It has a medium pigmentation which I don't mind since I wouldn't want to overdo it. The powder itself is fairly soft and gets picked up nicely with a soft brush. It has a slight dusty look and can make your face look a bit dirty if applied too much but I think that could be the case for a lot of bronzers. You just need to apply more carefully and its perfect.

Overall I couldn't be happier for the price I paid. It is not the best in the world but considering the price and amount it is very decent. It is a nice substitue for an expensive product until I am willing to splurge on anything better and so far it has been the only cheap bronzer that wasn't orange!
