Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder

I have this in the shade "001 Transparent". I use it to set my under eye concealer, eyeshadow primer and foundation in spots where I might need some extra staying put that day. I chose this shade as my skin is yellow-toned but picks up colour extremely easily when in the sun for a little bit. I am one of those tanning unicorns. Always go brown, never burns. When I use darker shades, it can tend to look too dark for me depending on how much time I spent in the sun. I also have a bronzer just in case this one comes off too white or powdery.

I must say that I love this powder. It works really well and does not leave me looking like a washed out ghost. If you have very deep skin, I would suggest trying a darker shade though as I am perfectly in between at the moment. Where ever I apply this product, the foundation/concealer just stays put all day long. No settling into lines or creasing for me. It is very lightweight and won't dry out your skin as I already have dry skin to begin with. If you enjoy the baking method, this shade is perfect and works really well. I will keep this in my makeup collection as a staple product because it really just works so well.

You get a ton of product for the price you are paying and one container should last for months and months in my opinion. I am very happy with my purchase and will keep purchasing this item!

I have it in 001 Transparent ( My skin tone is really light so I like light powders )

This is what it says on the back:

"Long lasting pressed powder. Up to 5 hours natural shine control with natural minerals. Helps minimize the appearance of pores."

I apply this after I've put on my liquid foundation ( Stay Matte by Rimmel London in the shade of Ivory )

I do not recommend putting too much of this on as it results in a heavy feel. Also if you put on too much it makes fine lines across your face which doesn't look too good.

When applying I use a brush, which blends it in nicely and makes the colour a tiny bit darker. When you try to apply ir with a sponge the colour is much lighter.

I do like this product, but I wouldn't go as far as saying that I love it. It works best when you don't apply too much at once.

I love using a good powder to set my make up as i feel like it last so much longer and just gives you that perfect finish when doing make up .

When a friend of mine introduced this to me I was a bit skeptical as packaging is very important to me and I was not impressed with appearance . Anyways I gave it a shot and it turned out to be the greatest part of my make up collection .

What surprised me even more is how cheap it is compared to other brands I have used and the quality is fantastic . I get a full 5 -6 hours and then only do I need to reapply . Glides on perfectly with a sponge and if you want a lighter application you can apply with a powder brush instead

This is one of the best matt pressed powders I've ever used!

It really makes an instant difference once putting it over your foundation
It helps my foundation last longer and my skin doesn't get so oily by the end of the day

you can apply this with a Kabuki brush or a powder sponge , and on days when you don't feel like wearing foundation you can just dab some of this on your face and you will be good to go

I only use face powder on really humid days because I find that I don't really need it most of the time, I'm glad I came across this because Durbans humidity makes it a must have! Other powders I tried in the past would look cakey and give me a ghostly look but this one is just the opposite,doing its job by helping my makeup stay put whilst adding a natural glow. Lasts about 6 hours before I need to touch up.

I love this product. I bought it after watching many of the indian youtube make up gurus suggesting it.
It was just above R70 , I got the translucent one as I didn't want any shading to interfere with my foundation colour. I apply it over my foundation, and it lightens it just a tad but gives it the look of a natural glow.

I've already hit pan with it , so definitely going to get my hands on another !
It last for approximately 5 hours on my oily T-zone me. But the amazing thing is, you can just reapply it once faded, and it doesn't give a cakey make up look.

I wouldn't suggest it for people with extremely dry skin, as during the Summer when my face becomes drier, it clings to the dry spots ...but if you do want to purchase it, moisturise,moisturise and moisturise before!

I will have to try it because I have oil skin.

Love this one. Out of all the products I have tried this is by far the best I have tried. Goes on well, lasts almost the whole day or otherwise would only need 2 applications a day

I absolutely love this especially in the shade translucent because no matter if you have a tan or not it matches your skin and gives a really fully matt coverage that lasts all day long. I know a lot of people get put off by the simple packaging but for the price I really don't mind that it is simple because it works and the packaging keeps it neat. This is a must

This product is really nice for oil control. It gives skin a lovely silky look and gives skin a shine free look for hours. The product is in expensive and lasts really long. You also don't need a lot of the product to give skin a flawless look.

I totally luv this product. It gives a nice matt finish n lasts quite long on the face.

I love this product. I agree that it is a pity that it doesn't come with an applicator. I find the powder works great and the trick is not to over apply because you skin can start looking dull, all one needs is a little on the T-panel.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder is wonderful. My skin tends to get shiny in the Summer months. Since finding Rimmel's Pressed Powder I apply it during the day and feel great. The coverage is good and it's nice to touch up during the day.

Brilliant product, let down a little by poor presentation.
