Initially when I bought this mascara for the first time, I was over the moon impressed with it for the following reasons:
1) It did not clump lashes together
2) It did not flake and get in my eyes. I am a contact lens wearer and flaky mascaras can have painful results.
3) I swam with it and it really stayed on.
4) It covered each lash individually.
5) It made my lashes look great.
Ok, so with such results, needless to say when Clicks had a 2 for the price of 1 sale at the beginning of 2013, I jumped at it with total abandon. After all, I would not have to buy mascara for a very long time.
I always liked to stay on top of new technology in mascaras as they seem to release a new innovative product on a continuous basis...one that is or seem even better than the previous. Somehow, I should have stuck with my motto of keep on experimenting with mascaras. Here is why:
1) Of the claims of lashes being nourished to make them grow, I can honestly say I experienced 0% results. My lashes seem to rather thin out after using this product for a while.
2) After a few months of continuous use, my lashes seems to battle and just did not look luscious with this mascara any longer.
3) It just looked like the va..va..va..voom got up and left.
4) I started getting little flakes in my eyes...and no it was not because the mascara was too old or dry.;-)
5) Coverage was not optimal any longer.
6) So I am stuck with this mascara until the end, as I have a pet peeve in wastage and after all, mascaras' shelf life is short. I have just gotten hold of Essence Lash Powder and hope that will give my lack-lustre mascara a new boost.
So overall my initial wowed impression did unfortunately not last that long. Onto the next mascara innovation, please! ;-)
