Rimmel Exaggerate Automatic Waterproof Eyeliner

My everyday go-to eyeliner for the past 2 - 3 years is the Rimmel Exxagerate Waterproof Eye Definer in Noir. But a few weeks ago my mother dropped off the starlit black one confusing it with my regular eyeliner. I have to admit when I first opened it and saw all the glittery particles, I was really disappointed because my experience with these types of eye makeup is disastrous. The glitter sits in my eye causing irritation and it affects my vision since I wear contact lenses. So for me to be saying that I actually ended up loving this eyeliner is a huge deal. I had none of the above mentioned problems, just a smooth, soft medium black sparkly eye that looked really good.

I have noticed that the staying power is not as good as the original black eyeliner that I used, but the smudging is minimal.

This goes for about R80 at any Clicks or Edgars stores.

I absolutely love this eyeliner, I purchased it in black. I love how easily it glides on and the waterproof formula doesn't smudge or fade during the day! Its retractable, which for me is a huge bonus and came with a smudger and a sharpener, all for the great Price of R90! I highly recommend this product!

This is now part of my permanent make up collection. It is just shy of being my number one black eyeliner because it irritates my eyes if i apply it on my waterline :( but it is still a great eyeliner. It is quite soft for a waterproof liner which makes it a dream to apply, but it is still quite long lasting. I think the price is incredible for the quality of this product which is why I am only too eager to repurchase!

My new favourite! This eyeliner stays put, the black (Noir) which is one I use is just awesome, no hot weather can beat it, I do not have to reapply during day, actually it only comes off when I use my eye make-up remover so I think this eyeliner is little dynamite, easy to carry in little purse and is a very sleek pencil which feels good and solid when you hold it to apply it, the tip does not harden and glides on easy!

I’ve been looking for a waterproof eyeliner pencil that lasts long without paying R100. I usually finish my eyeliner pencils within 3-4 months so it can get quite expensive buying R100+ liners. This eyeliner pencil was R58.95 which in my opinion is a great price for the quality of the product. I really like the formula of this product. The liner is very soft and doesn’t tug on your skin when you apply it. The colour is also quite intense so you don’t have to keep running the liner over and over again. This product is waterproof, but I would say that it maintains 90% colour intensity throughout the day, which isn’t bad at all. I really like pencils that have a smudgy end as well because it allows you to smudge the liner for that extra smokey look. Once you’ve smudged it the liner doesn’t budge so no raccoon eyes here.

Shade Aubergine is a cool grape purple with no reddish or plum undertones. It is an excellent liner. I love the fact that it is so creamy and spreads easily without dragging my lids. Despite being creamy it doesn't smudge or disappear as the day goes by. I love my automatic pencils - they are so practical. Even though they can be sharpened, I just use mine as is to create a thicker line that I just smoke out. Recommended!

I was sceptical when I read waterproof,It usually means its not as effective(dark) as the eyeliner I usually buy.

Pretty gold eyeliner

Picked up the gold- precious gold at a Clicks sale- where else! for R30 each- got the gold and pine green one. the green had no definer sponge on the end

I have been using Rimmel eyeliner for as long as I can remember. It glides on easily and smudges nicely to give you that hot smokey eye effect. I also love that you don't have to sharpen this pencil, you just have to twist the bottom, so no shavings in the basin! Overall it is a must have for any girls cosmetic bag.
