I am still on the hunt for the perfect clump-free mascara. The task seems impossible, and although I was holding out hope for this product (I am a huge fan of Revlon), it hasn't lived up to my expectations, unfortunately. While I love the colour (I usually go with a black-brown shade to match my brown liner for day wear), I often have to scrape off the excess product at the edge of the bottle, or it ends up clumping my lashes. Not ideal. What I really want is a mascara whose wand comes out perfectly ready for application, but I'm beginning to think a mascara like that is elusive. The Lash Potion is water resistant and lasts all day, but it is somewhat difficult to remove with regular eye makeup remover.

I purchased this recently in brown because I was such a huge fan of the Grow Luscious range, and I didn't have a brown mascara for a softer, more natural look. I have to admit that my lashes do look amazing with this mascara, no smudging, no running, no clumping, it looks natural, and my lashes are fuller and longer. My only gripe comes in with the fact that I didn't know it was waterproof, and I am not a fan of waterproof mascara, it is a nightmare to get off and pulls my lashes out, no matter what I use to aid (makeup remover, anything). Aside from that, it is a lovely mascara and looks beautiful, though I think I would have preferred a normal and not waterproof edition.

I recently just bought this as a package deal, came with an eye pencil. I personally think it is a pretty good mascara, my lashes seemed longer and thicker. And the price I paid was around R70, so very happy with my purchase. Was worth the cost.

The biggest reason I loved it – there were absolutely no clumps at all. This spaced out my lashes well enough to keep them looking as natural as possible. I really like the formula

It smudged a little below my eye, but I might have caused it with my pre-assignment nap time.

Overall – I think this a great mascara for those wanting extra volume and length that still looks natural. I definitely recommend this!
