These crème shadows blend very easily and you can mix and match colours to create your own, but I do not recommend them to be used by themselves. It may cause your lids to appear greasy and the crème shadow will definitely crease within a few hours of wear.
Now you may have noticed by now, that I am very into using products or techniques that help prolong my makeup all day, because I’m not very good at retouching my makeup throughout the day. This crème eyeshadow is perfect if you want to intensify the pigment of your existing eyeshadows, and the bonus is that it creates the perfect creamy base to help your eyeshadow adhere to your eyelids ALL DAY! I would still suggest using a eye primer before applying the crème shadow – I use MAC Prep and Prime in Light. Apply the crème shadow, then apply your powder/mineralise eyeshadow on top of that. You can even create iridescent shades by using a crème shadow colour that is different, but complimentary to your eyeshadow colour. My favourite is to use the blue crème shadow, and purple eyeshadow over it. It gives the purple a blue iridescent effect, which is very pretty and especially flattering on ladies with brown eyes.
