The Revlon Stay active foundation is a medium cover liquid that is sweat proof and oil free formula for a mattifying effect. It looks fresh and feels great all day.
The first ever foundation liquid I purchased was the Revlon Colour Stay Foundations which was many moons ago and I for some reason that I still do not know why I did it changed to another brand. Until a few months ago I realized my foundation was old and needed to replace it. So I decided to go back to Revlon. They did not have the colour I usually wear which is Medium Beige, so I took the Toast 009 since it practically looked the same and it actually blended in perfectly.
As you know it comes in a glass/plastic bottle of 30ml (it fell and didn't break) with a white pump. Now I personally feel the pump lets out way to much liquid and I so wish it was not white since it looks so dirty. But I stopped using the pump and just unscrew the top.
I have been wearing it daily for a few months and found it did not mattify the way I wanted it to but it did leave my skin dewy which I love and it really settled well after application. It does mattify a little bit only though. Do not apply too much or you will be blending your arm off. It is super easy to blend and get the desired look with either a foundation brush, stippling brush or beauty blender (be sure to not apply to much though). This also looks amazing on camera! This does not give the white or yellow face. It just makes your skin look amazingly flawless with natural and fake lighting.
It has an SPF 25 but for me that is not enough so I use an SPF 50 face cream before I do my make-up. It lasted me an entire 14 hr day without smudging or fading or spotting. It is really sweat proof. I did the unthinkable and put some on before my morning run because I was curious to see if it would last and it did! It actually was sweat proof. I am really impressed with this product so much so that I am going through this bottle quickly. I left my BB cream and use this daily instead.
It is only medium coverage so for blemishes and dark spots I do use a primer and concealer to cover up any of the really dark spots. For the retail value of R 240. I personally think it is worth it especially with summer this product will be perfect.
Now I have VERY oily skin and even though it doesn't mattify completely it still works really well and I have no problem with my skin becoming extra oilier throughout the day with this product. It just gives my skin a flawless finish.
