I asked a consultant at Foshini to help me find the perfect shade for a matt smokey eye and she recommended this pallet in Addictive which is more brown/taupe colour . I had a look at all the similar quad sets in the various brands and I decided to buy it. I like that the colours are matt and the darker shade works well as a liner and at the crease. The consultant applied the eyeshadow for me in the store and it looked great, not too much for daytime and I could amp it up for a more dramatic effect for evening wear. I love that the colours complement my skin tone and don't make me look gothic as some eyeshadows.
This is definitely a great every day pallet for me!

I wasn't too impressed with the Revlon Colorstay quads - I own three and find that they not as pigmented as other budget eyeshadows like Essence!! I would honestly not buy these again-- I like the different shades but they definitely don't live up to the name of Colorstay

Small palette that makes it easy to carry everywhere. Rich color to use individually, two color or four and love the description of the recommended areas at the back, works even for first timers.
The color last long with no smudge, no more re application for you, with different quads to choose from, it is a good value for money.

Small quad that could easily fit in your handbag. Love the informative info at the back, it shows you exactly how this quad can be used.
All four colours in this quad are buttery soft. Very easy to apply and blends really well. I also find that it does not crease or smudge.
I did however find that the eyeshadow does not last for 16 hours as indicated.
Very affordable and great for everyday usage.

The palettes are amazing and I got myself 587 Wild Sauvage which consists of 4 different smooth shades. I love the packaging and the colours last a bit longer. I am obsessed with it and since I bought it last two months it never left my cosmetic bag.

Each palette offers users a description of the recommended areas for application for example the lightest colour of the compact is recommended as a highlighter- to be used on the eye socket bone, whilst the darkest colour should be applied to the outer corners of the eyelid.

Each colour lasted on my eyelids for an entire evening without smudging or fading and did not leave the powdery residue typical of other eye shadows. It is a versatile and affordable palette for use day or night!
