Revlon Age Defying Moisturising Concealer SPF 25

Claiming to hydrate like an eye cream, Revlon's Age Defying Moisturising Concealer contains their trademarked Botafirm™ complex, which mimics the action of Botox in a non-invasive topical application. It conceals imperfections caused by ageing, such as dark circles and discoloration. The product also contains an SPF of 25, and is intended for use specifically under the eyes, but can be used all over the face, wherever there are blemishes. • Prepare the skin under eyes with a light, non greasy eye cream. • Gently dab the concealer under your eyes • Blend with the pad of your ring finger using a patting, not rubbing, motion until it looks seamless • For optimal results, you can build coverage until your desired coverage level Patting rather than rubbing is important, as the product particles are relatively large and flat, and patting makes them all lie down neatly on top of each other, like tiles, to that you get a good coverage. Rubbing makes them all higgeldy-piggeldy, so you get smudges and smears. Priced at R125 for 15ml, this is good value.

Revlon Age Defying with DNA Advantage Concealer is an anti-aging concealer. There is nothing on the packaging about the benefits and what it contains to prove it is age defying.

It is light in coverage and great for underneath the eyes and for those dark circles, which are a problem for me. Its not particularly long-lasting, but I don't really enjoy the "caked" look with a concealer or a foundation. I like a light coverage, enough to lighten my freckles but that you can still see them.

This product is supposedly "age defying" but I found that it didn't really make a difference to my fine lines. Lets be honest, I don't expect a beauty or cosmetic product to completely erase my lines or wrinkles, however I do want them to APPEAR less noticeable.

What I did like about this product is that it felt moisturizing and not drying, like most concealers.

For 89.95 at Dischem it was a fairly priced concealer and I love the Revlon brand (that's why I chose it).

Give it a whirl!

I continuously buy new concealers as I tend to struggle with dark circles. I found that this product works especially well if you use the one tip which was shared on Beauty Bulletin. Apply concealer before AND after foundation routine and this gets the job done perfectly. It is a medium coverage concealer which you apply with an applicator and then just dab in with fingers or concealer brush.
I have only had mine for two weeks but I don't use an excessive amount per usage so it seems that it will last a long time.

Today was the day to review a Revlon concealer.I generally struggle to find a concealer which works for me- to cover those hormonal pimples which appear as if they were sent by a demonic force!

Even though Revlon is a trusted and great brand, my pimples and dark marks are stubborn, and unfortunately this concealer was unable to save me from the pimple bomb explosion.

Revlon products generally have a yellow undertone, so it is for the girls whom tan easily and are not as pale.

The great addition to the concealer is that it is part of the age defying range, something you're never too old to start using!

It also features a Vitamin C and licorice-enriched formula that instantly reduces the appearance of age spots and discolorations for smooth, more even looking skin.

The tubed like packaging makes this concealer look a lot more exclusive, and the sponge is excellent for even product distribution.

If you are a Revlon fanatic, you will be utterly impressed with this concealer, but unfortunately I still have a bit of a concealer mission left...

This is a really hard-working concealer, and a little goes a very long way !
Great coverage without being chalky, and I found it moisturising without being too heavy or greasy, even with my combination skin.
I'm generally not a fan of products containing sunscreen, as they are often gloopy and don't contain enough sunscreen to actually be effective. This might irritate some users because of the SPF, but I found it ok.
You need a light hand for under-eye use, as too much product will settle into fine lines. When I got the quantity right, it was perfect, and didn't give me any mascara-melt, which I battle with on most concealers.
Excellent for cover around the nose area and over eyelids to help prime lids for shadow (a most under-rated trick !) I didn't try it for other blemishes as The Skin is happily behaving.
One quibble - the shade range is quite narrow and I fell somewhere between Light and Medium (both pink-toned) but found the Light-Medium shade a little grey. You'll need to test to see which one works for you.
Definitely recommended, and not just for the 30+ target market. This will be good for anyone who has some skin discolouration to hide !

I was on a hunt for a good undereye conceler when I saw this product when it first came out. Light medium is a good colour match for me. It has a bit of a peachy tint which is good for covering purple hues of my undereye circles. The first thing that impressed me is how creamy it is. I need the tiniest dot (it is very easy to control the amount you squeeze because the tube has a pointy and narrow tip) and it spreads very well and blends seemlessly. It dosn't have any cakiness about it which is great. It can be built up but you need to let it dry layer by layer. It is also creamy enough to cover face blemishes with a brush. It has great coverage.

Overall I am happy with the purchase. It hasn't turned my world upside down but it is good enough for the price. The only thing I noticed is that it collects in my wrinkles a bit, a couple of hours after application, but it has been the case with every single concealer I have ever tried so no real surprise for me there. Definitely try this out!
