I too did this Brazilian Keratin treatment on my hair (I performed the treatment myself with the help of a titanium keratin iron loaned to me by a friend. I purchased mine on auction at www.bidorbuy.co.za for only R251 for the entire set!!
It was relatively a straight forward process (although long, like 4hrs long), but then end result where worth it.
My hair appeared healthier and smoother, it was pin straight and I could wash and let my hair air dry and it was sleek and easy to manage. The only down side was that my hair became oily very quickly meaning I had to wash it every second day, meaning the treatment only lasted about 2.5 months (anbout a month of wash and go hair).
For the price, effort and quality of the product, I would say well worth it - The best part it its not permanent, so if you love your curls but would like to try this out, never fear as you hair returns to its natural state after about 3 months :)
