I used to thoroughly dislike wearing lipstick but more recently, I have been having some fun exploring and experimenting so receiving these to review, is super for my makeup collection! I find the packaging of these little dimes, super cute with its simple yet elegant shiny black capsule decorated by diamante all around the cylinder. The silver trimmings create a feeling of luxury but at no added expense to the wallet! I especially like that the capsule is not bulky, instead, it is quite small, fits perfectly in my hands and takes no additional space in the small cosmetic bag that I like carrying with me, daily. I would never have picked the colours that I was sent, as I am more of a nude-lip kinda girl, but I was even more grateful as I found them exceptionally helpful when creating the perfect date-night look or using them to create the current ombre-lip trend. The colours are bright and vibrant with a shiny finish. I loved that the lipstick wasn’t thick or gooey on my lips and you didn’t require numerous layers to see the desired colour. A colour which took me by surprise was 64- Vixen, as in the packaging it looked like a dark brown, but it came out in a rich plum! Not the sort of colour you would usually find me wearing, but one that I have taken great pleasure in embracing. It is daring and attractive! The only downfall is the lipstick isn’t long-lasting at all, but for the price – I didn’t expect 24 hour coverage and as I mentioned, they are great for your cosmetic bag, so touch-ups come with ease! I find that you can have just as much fun with lipstick as with eyeshadow, if you know how to. My favourite tool is a lip brush as you have more control and you can blend different colours, creating your own. This can unlock a whole new world, so get yours now – and start playing!
