Over the last few years I have been taking extra care of locks since I decided to grow it. Years of using a straightening iron on my already straight but sometimes frizzy hair, made my hair thin and limp. After buying a good shampoo regimen my hair is now in a good condition. Came across The Body Shop hair butter by chance since I don't usually buy their hair products, I was more taken by the word butter in it.
It's basically like an in shower treatment which you leave in damp hair for at least 5 mins, and you massage it into your hair while rinsing it out.
It lived up to its nourishing promises for me. And a big plus sign is that my hair didn't feel heavy or oily after. I love the fresh scent on my hair after I use it. And when I dried my hair there was less frizz than usual. The price at R95 isn't bad, I think as salon treatments are way more and this product has the similar properties to those products. The only thing is that they say use to hazelnut size pieces on your hair I tend to use more. But I use it as a weekly treatment so it's lasted me.
There's also variant for hair that's not colour treated.
