My first impression of the perfume is that the scent is incredibly light. I am use to bracing myself when first smelling a perfume but this one was very soft and because of that you do need to apply quite a bit to get the desired level of fragrance on your skin.

The top notes (notes include mandarin, orange blossom, galbanum, iris, incense, benzoin, cedar, lentisc and vetiver) are bright and sunny, with a nice citrus tone mixed with some “greenery”. It smells summery and fresh. It gets smoother and softer the longer it is on skin. It is a soft-spoken scent, but not dull at all, and while it calls for a more liberal application than you’d expect for an Eau de Parfum — it has serious lasting power. I think of this as a soft whisper on my skin that people will catch a whiff when they are close to me – much better than smelling me before I’ve even entered a room. I hate it when perfume is so strong on a person that it makes your eyes water.

To me this perfume is best suited for those days where you feel soft and feminine. This is intended as a spring\summer perfume but it won’t stop me from wearing it all year round.

I received a sample in my March Rubybox and have been wearing this for over a week. Sadly I am reaching the end of my sample and at R820 for 50ml I don’t think I’ll be getting this very soon – although my Birthday is around the corner and this would be a welcomed treat!
