Phytomer HydraContinue Moisturising Hand Cream

This is a unique moisturiser for your hands which claims to nourish your skin in and lock in its moisture. I'm not so sure about it though.

Also got this in my rubybox. A quick absorbing yet nourishing cream that includes hydrating sweet almond oil and repairing shea butter and pheohydrane to keep moisture locked in. Now this brand I have never heard From reading the ingredients I was already sold plus it’s made in France and as we all know everything that comes from France is amazing. The scent however does bother me and it doesn't asorb as quickly as i would like as it forms a oily layer over my hands

At a retail price of R323 for a 50ml tube, this is quite pricey and you would certainly expect it to work miracles for your hands. So I put mine to the test. I washed a whole lot of dishes and as everyone knows, dish washing liquid is a nightmare for your hands. I used a dollop of this cream on my hands and immediately the scent made me drift of to some island! The fragrance is great. A very sweet smelling cream. However, I did find the cream to be a bit thick and it did take a while for it to fully absorb into my skin. After which it did, left it a bit sticky. And if you read any of my previous reviews on hands creams, I HATE sticky creams. Total put of for me.

So in conclusion, I wouldn't purchase this in the future simply because it did not deliver on promises and it is far too pricey for a simple hand cream.
