Hot1. Paula’s choice hydralight one step face cleanser ‘This glycerine-rich formula cleanses gently but thoroughly, leaving absolutely no residue.’ 2. Paula’s Choice 1% beta hydroxy acid gel. ‘Exfoliates the skin’s surface and inside the pore to prevent blackheads and blemishes. This ultra light formula also contains soothing anti-inflammatories that help reduce inflammation and redness.’ What is beta hydroxyl acid? ‘Beta Hydroxy Acid (abbreviated to BHA) exfoliates! Because blemishes occur inside the pore and involve oil production, an effective 1% to 2% salicylic acid (beta hydroxy acid—BHA) product is a crucial over-the-counter starting point for exfoliating the skin.’ Excerpt from Paula’s Beauty Bible 3. Paula’s Choice skin recovery hydrating treatment mask ‘A creamy blend of enriching emollients, soothing plant oils, potent antioxidants, and essential cell-communicating ingredients.’ Paula on cell-communicating ingredients: ‘ Every cell has a vast series of receptor sites for different substances. These receptor sites are the cell’s communication hookup. When the right ingredient for a specific site shows up, it has the ability to attach itself to the cell and transmit information. In the case of skin, this means telling the cell to start doing the things a healthy skin cell should be doing. If the cell accepts the message, it then shares the same healthy message with other nearby cells and so on and so on.’ Excerpt from Paula’s Beauty Bible 4.Resist Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum. ‘This serum contains exceptional levels of antioxidants that deliver superior protection to help skin strengthen itself from within.’

User reviews
2. Paula’s Choice 1% beta hydroxy acid gel: It does what it does: exfoliates.
3. Paula’s Choice skin recovery hydrating treatment mask: This mask left a residue which my skin rapidly absorbed. Deeply hydrating.
4. Resist Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum: This product is my favourite of the samples tried. It has a caramel-like texture which left my skin all smooth & silky.
